I have a sudden need for a gigantic plot twist where the dad ends up being a nice guy and Kim was just manipulating us into getting into conflict with him. She's even got a villain haircut.
I would actually like this so much. would make Kim's story and her being a bad LI all that much for better and believable to me cause her current story I do not believe at all

I don't mind seeing any content with any LI even if I don't have an interest in them or dislike / hate someone. As I don't like it when a character disappears from the game if im not on their path. So I do like the idea of helping Kim with her father stuff for story reasons but nothing romantic.
if it's for story reasons, okay, but it depends on how it's done

Like if I choose not to forgive her, and my MC does choose to help her, he makes it clear that he really doesn't want to be in

involved in this, but he's been dragged into it, or he does it because it's the right thing to do, but he still doesn't forgive her

and their work colleagues, not friends

Otherwise, I really don't want to be involved with her problems if I have a girlfriend

But again, we're making assumptions, we don't know what the next update is going to be about

We could all be worrying /concerned for nothing

Is that what we did with Alessa to get Michelle? Probably needed a side of necromancy.
yeah but Alessa isn't as much of a defect / broken model like Kim is. Alessa still works and id keep her but Michelle is just a straight up upgrade.

True Necromancy probably the only way to fix Kim

Man, i actively have 36 games on my VN tracker, and I don't think I have one LI in these 36 that I actively dislike. I have favourites, and I have ones that i'm apathetic towards, sure, but not that I actively dislike.

I personally don't mind the whole ex thing, it adds a new dynamic onto a LI, rather than just being a work colleague or someone that the MC happened to meet. If you're making a game with a ton of LI's, then you need that variety in back stories and relationships with the MC. One of the big VN tropes I dislike is that the MC, within a week meets 6 different girls who are all into him, outside of something like a college setting. This VN does a decent job of subverting that, which is one of the reasons it stood out to me.

Before too long, I'll pass 1000 names on my LI spreadsheet for all the games I play/have played enough to want to track them. And those are rookie numbers to some, like MiltonPowers. This is one of a handful of games where pretty much every LI or potential LI is high quality (based on my tastes and only in terms of looks).

Yeah this is a VN that I'm incredibly interested in, I've given it a 5 out of 5 on my trracker. I'll likely replay a week or two before the new update anyway and go through all the paths again, that tends to be my way of doing things and I tend to find new things about characters I like or appreciate

Want to reply before I go to bed

Yeah i'm playing Kim's path even tho I don't like her , as I am curious about her path nonetheless. tbh there is only 2 reasons I dislike Kim not that I can't see her pov. I just don't really find her pov / what she believes well believable it feels like a stretch to me. Sure all that matters is she believes it if you really care about her. While that is a negative it really isn't the main negative for me.

It's for the fact she left the MC wondering what he did wrong without any answers for a year and im not sure if she would of ever told the MC if she never came back because of her job. That to me is more damaging than her leaving for a reason I don't find very believable. Now im not saying she should of told him right away if she felt like he would do something dumb and put himself in danger because how she fears her father. But after 4 months when she is settled I feel she should of reached out and told him at least as at that point be to late to do anything.

Nah I get that viewpoint. My argument for stuff for like this is always, they're what 18-20 in the prologue? Still basically kids, kids make stupid decisions under the pretense it was the right thing to do, or frankly is just easier. I'm guilty of it myself

It's hard for an author to convey that, but I always give characters for grace they make at that age.

exactly

For me, I'm 100% loyal, ride or die.

So if somebody doesn't give me that in return and just leaves me, don't call me, don't write me.

Because if you leave me once, you leave me again

Absolutely agree, but it's easier to give a 20 year old (or however old she was) grace for making a bad decision. Should be held accountable yes, but also understanding
Maybe brother, like I said, I don't hate her

And I understand why she did it, I just don't forgive her

And besides, I'm with Kimberly, and personally, I don't think it's appropriate to be too close to your ex

I mean, if Kimberly was buddy-buddy with her ex, I'd have a problem with that
