Anyway I'll try re-uploading all the stuff thats gone over the next couple of nights. Theres 1 huge pack from LMSketch/Legoman I want to upload, but at 1.9GB, I'm not sure what the chances of it working are. If the uploader is a lot more stable than it was a few months ago it might work though, so f*ck it, I'll still try.

Edit: NVM, file uploading is disabled again aaargh.
  1. Isn't a general pack against the spirit of the upload function? Why not post a gallery to e-hentai? I get there's some grey area since the importer will catch links but that content can be lost if it's a time-limited Google Drive or a Mega account gets banned.
  2. May as well ask KemonoDev is there even an idea of what upload mod tools will be or is that TBD?

KemonoDev Also, forgot to point this one out, I believe, sorry.

- Some users consistently spam the mostly unfinished request list
- Votes are pretty much useless unless they are meant to shill certain early users (or collect IPs, even after proper hashing and database calls are implemented). I also believe they are disabled at the moment but just in case, maybe disable them completely for the time being?
- Many trolling requests need a quickwipe (pointed out by RD8K)
- Requests may also need an edit/delete feature (mistakes might happen, though it's still unlikely if the user isn't a complete idiot and does exactly as stated - however, many requests right now *are* being made by complete idiots who don't even read the stuff you put in there for them to read)

And also quoting this post just in case:
The requests system as a whole was poorly designed, and I intend to replace it soon.

That was the most casual way of putting it. However it was mostly drawings & 3D animations vs reaction videos & real life porn. I already made my argument that they have a better case for loli content being posted on the platform. Allow real life porn let a group of malicious people use that as a shield to post illegel porn or CP as a cover. What we saw before from Tumblr & Pornhub way of getting rid of it was to scorch the entire platform, nearly destroying them as a result.

After knowing this, are they REALLY gonna to be hands off and allow everything like they say on their platform? Because their going to be a situation were those type of illegal content are gonna to be spreading like wild fire and it will be impossible to get rid off easy without purging the platform. So they're gonna to end up in real shit in no time. I don't want another 8chan situation..
All of the content on Kemono is uploaded from huge platforms with paid moderation teams automatically, so until Patreon, Fanbox, etc. start slipping up with removing actual CP, we'll be perfectly fine. Not really sure what that has to do with laxer content policy.
But, if you're really just asking about the removal of lolicon/shotacon content, the answer is no.

What is stopping a malicious person to Manuel use your uploading files feature to post .rar files of actual CP around different NSFW onlyfan archive pages, that will let them hide themselves and their busy on your platform? Because they use to do that shit on Twitter and use MEGA.

Its not against the spirit/intention of it AFAIK. Its an annual rewards pack originally released via a long dead private link (G Drive IIRC) only given out to Legoman's Patreons. The externally distributed content (just an early "anti scraper DRM trick" by the artists) can only be uploaded via manual upload. I think thats why the feature was added to YP & KP in the first place, as a way to "combat" external distro DRM, which became more and more of a problem as more artists started doing it.

I don't post official source links BTW (easily found/killed by the artist via a quick Google search). I download, repack, and upload a ZIP or RAR. Same deal with the 20'ish monthly rewards packs I uploaded yonks ago but are all dead now (mostly from 2 TF artists). No links, just files.

Contact methods ranked from best to worst;
- Telegram (check several times daily, will respond within a few minutes, to a few hours if I'm busy or sleeping)
- Protonmail (check less, but will still respond within a few hours)
- F95Zone (I actually don't come to this place for anything but this thread. Expect a response within a day or two.)
- Discord (I really don't like it and only made an account because of MH's decision to communicate there. Expect a response within 2-3 days.)
- Twitter (I don't even manage this myself. Don't expect a response.)

Seiso belongs to Kuro. Don't think he uses Discord. Who the hell is Sam? Codebase is Kemono fork, so Python/Javascript as well.

Ofans belongs to Sloppy/Business. Don't think him and Thinker are the same person. Codebase is Node.js.
And where is Git and issues opened there on your list ?

I hate discord (just no), telegram (no apps thank you), twitter (even in the open, there's no salvation), *and* any kind of 4chan/8chanspawn (hello captchas and shitposts) so apologies if this sounds a bit rude, but feel free to fix any inconsistencies in there, after trying to make some sense from both what was said in discord and what you just said:

- Kemono belongs to you (KemonoDev), aka Shino, and reachable ways are: F95 (not really convenient for you I'd say, but the most viable), twitter (lolno), telegram (even more lolno), discord (welp)
I'm sure this makes me "old fashioned" in the eyes of some users but I honestly feel the same about chatroom apps & Tw@ter (and most social media sites TBH)...

I'll stick with F95 as a communication line. If theres a dedicated GitHub page for tracking known issues (if I understand correctly) then thats cool too.

To KemonoDev, good luck with the site & development, and I hope the manual upload feature comes back soon! I've got a lot that I need to reupload (20+ packs all 404 now) :O

Maybe since the site has user accounts, that can be worked into a way to sort of "police" what gets uploaded. IE, you can only upload with an account, and so anyone uploading spam (malware, fake files, unrelated content?) will be easily identifiable and you can send them a PM: "Stop uploading fake files or you'll lose all your LA privelages".

KemonoDev Thanks for the reply. "Sam" has a developer role and briefly mentioned that, but I guess I misunderstood. Thanks for clearing all of this up; just like Afro, I'll stick to F95 and maybe github once I git (ha) better.

If I'm not mistaken, the github for KP is here: (the link, which includes PixivUtil for some reason, is at the bottom of the KP page)

Edit: Kitsune is for the importer and Kemono2 for the database schema.

You don't even need an account to access fantia comments, they are fully public. Only posting comments or reactions is restricted to tier members (and no longer available if the plan subscription or re-subscription was too late).

Kemono already allows for fantia importing but does not yet import comments (same for fanbox, however fanbox comments *are not public* and will no longer be visible once subscription ends). For fantia comments that is not a problem because anyone can still scrape any comment, even if you are 'too late'.

For details please ask KemonoDev, I don't work on this project (or any other yiff project for that matter).

Also, KemonoDev since I'm not exactly familiar with the platform, do we have Enty support planned at some point? The thing seems to be quite a mess and there have been numerous API changes.

(Another one that comes to mind would be Ci-en, as DLsite already is implemented, which is much more intuitive.)

For DL packs you can't import, remember you can (and should) use EH and distribute via H@H. The limitation is 2000 pictures and 10GB per gallery, and you can still split galleries. Tagging doesn't matter, use the uploader comment field to properly describe what you upload. You can then import to Kemono once it's stable for higher availability.

Avast just started giving me a Threat Blocked to URL Phisching, on the Kemono site. Wasn't getting that yesterday.

I had to add in exception to thumbs.kemono.party before it stopped giving me errors.

Use a proper adblocker if you aren't already using one and redirect all connection attempts from/to juicyads to /dev/null for all routes that apply to your user environment.

Take a look at the newest "stealth addition banner", just in case it shows up on your side somehow.

KemonoDev This one hasn't been mentioned, I believe. Sorry if already aware of it.

If a downloading user forgets to set a speed limit, random speed jumps may cause immediate 429s even with a single connection and all subsequent queries to fail accordingly - a workaround is for downloading users on gigabit or higher to use a speed limit (read on your preferred non-Google search engine how to set this up if you are not using a terminal or command line) unless it's something else causing this.

Usual speeds range from 50KB/s to 100KB/s here (speed limiting set at 1MB/s = 8Mbit/s, single connection, no download accelerator or stuff like that). More or less baidu netdisc speed levels on a non-VIP account but at least it works without throwing 429s all over the place from sudden jumps.

This can screw up file ordering or even leave gaps/corrupt files around if the downloading user also isn't properly naming or checking their files, but this one is an user issue. Regardless of the system used, always assume it will fail.

This is a straight up ripped off people for subpar artwork and to add more salt they don't even bother adding in a description of what these terms contain. Meaning, they knew it not worth that high of a price they asking for it.

I've seen worse on Fantia, but the hilarious thing is there are people throwing hundreds of fancy emotes for $30 each. At least they get some kind of mysterious content here. :sneaky:

Still, that's 8400 USD for all packs? Ouch. Record 'muh VIP status' spender here was someone who threw $2k in emotes in a single day just to show off.

It is as you said RD8K, the problem is rich sugar daddy people or the ones living on covid relief (and using it on porn instead of emergency care) will casually toss all that government money, encouraging the mindset. Content creators know this full well so they neither feel remorse nor fear for doing this, as they will bait people anyway.

People who work 50+ hours a week to make ends meet will quickly learn to think twice when they support artists, regardless of how physically or mentally taxing the job is.

I appreciate the response, but I'm not so computer savvy to understand what you said really.

Ah, sorry. When you get a potential threat alert from antivirus software or a security suite, it should log all details - attack vectors, remote attacker (with port), process involved (with process ID, PID), action attempted (such as a redirect, and in this case the URL or IP will be included), etc.

But I'll narrow it down to this for context. Make sure the following adblocking rules are enabled:
Code:
* jads.co * block
* juicyads.com * block

Are those two domains a known suspect link from the kemono artist thumbnails?
