Worth noting that Discord servers are highly unsuitable for Db scale orginisation and search accessing though.

not unless it is set up by server admin. for example, my main server is largest server with over 1000 TB of content, 1K members. as with my other servers, even same and varied setups shown in my servers. Yiff.Party - The Discord Edition will be exactly same, sharing my main server's setup.. which is very rare to do so. but this is special case for Yiff.Party members.

That's a fair point. Plus, I don't imagine it could hurt to have a secondary source beyond Kemono. As we've seen, it's very easy for a soul source to burn itself.

Be warned that Discord doesn't take kindly to projects like this. YP had a Discord server at one point, but was banned by moderators. And there's also the fact Discord requires phone number verification and is completely centralized.
Discord has better uptime, but everything could disappear without warning. You'd be better off getting a decent server and making a booru or something.

So RealKorra is making a discord to replace Yiff and KemonoDev is here saying they'll be improving the Kemono website to also replace Yiff.
Things are looking up.

I don't know if this came up before, but webarchive has stored some of the content. I noticed that the last date that has something else than "Loading..." in it is March 17, 2019. Now, going to most of the artists's pages will return "Wayback Machine doesn't have that page archived.". Still, some of them appear with viewable posts and pictures (if it shows only posts, try refreshing the page).

Currently, there is a Discord server being setup as an indirect replacement, with myself working with others on a direct replacement, as well as the possibility of scaling up Kemono. So there's a fair bit in play right now.

The main problem I see with a discord is that you might aswell just have a database of people to ban from your patreon as opposed to atleast some anonmity
this is going to go down in a heart beat discord admins take down servers that post the kind of stuff that yiff party would post. stuff that you would normally have to pay for, I mean good luck but I don't think its really going anywhere I've been in plenty of servers that have been a type of leaker server and they got taken down pretty fast all it really needs is a bunch of reports and if this is gonna be a easily accessible server as yiff party is accessible then all it needs is a bunch of people on patreon saying hey go mass report this server

probably, but in my history of running over 200 discord servers, i have never ever lost one.

2 years ago I had my discord account banned, because in one of the servers I was in ( and I don't even know which one) someone posted something either illegal or copyrighted; when I made a ticket to discord support asking for a detailed explanation, I got just a cold-flat reply stating that they won't re-activate any banned account, not even caring to tell me why I was actually banned in the first place, or which server was the culprit...

As I have said before, discord doesn't offer the necessary anonymization services to be used for any projects of this type, especially as more and more people have to use it for work. I have people who have had to leave all their non-work servers since it's "unprofessional" to have anything other than work stuff on a work account (says their bosses as they use a service explicitly not meant to work for work). Without proper multi-account/identify and anonymization support, discord is non-viable for many people for anything adult related.
Also as was pointed out discord itself expressly bans use for this kind of file sharing and can and will shut down anything that has "suspicious" amounts of bandwidth use.
If you want to change that join, the growing chorus on te discord feedback site and various social medias demanding discord add multiple account support. Even then, it will just be for development and such; the actual replacement sites will have to be real websites, not through he discord.
