Actually that's not 100% accurate. If not in the military then sexual consent ages are up to the 50 individual states, which can be anywhere from 16-21, the details of which can get even more complicated when you consider some can be 16 and it doesn't matter how old the other is it's still fine, some have to be within 2-5 years of the other if under 18, etc. The complications at the state level are probably just an American thing, not sure.

that's exactly why I mostly ignore real porn if it's not an actual incest porn movie (or at least role playing the real thing vs stepcest). My hope for AVNs is eventually AI will be better than real porn but still look like real porn (that still has consistency issues for now when it's a series of renders with what supposed to be the same actors), except the actors don't really exist and neither do their voices. Age of majority is not the same as age of consent. It's also not the same age as when you are allowed to drive a car.
All these ages vary wildly across the world, nevermind if any of it is actually enforced.
As for the actual ages of the characters, who cares? They are just pixels and I'm sure they are more than 18 years old for legal reasons regardless of how that makes sense in the story.
That's kind of ridiculous as well. This game has been around for a long time, is well loved and has plenty of good reviews.
You can play it or not as you want but waiting for even more reviews is just pointless. What do you want these new reviews to tell you?
