VN - Ren'Py - Young Again [S2 Ch. 5 Public] [Zargon_games]

Normal renders and sex scenes. While the premise of the story is interesting, but i am not sure where the story is going.
But at least this game has a soul. Overall, quite a cute story and characters.

It's not the most original game, but it has an enjoyable story and diverse female characters with kinda realistic bodies, which is often rare in this genre. There are a few shortcomings tho, like a somewhat incoherent story and a mediocrely executed redemption plot for the main character (the younger one, but oldman wasn't saint either), who was probably an asshole before he died. Overall, I like it and I'm looking forward to further development of the story.

Good cast, pretty good writing, good visuals. Ruby, Emma and Anna are my favourites. I'm not into the stuff where they're sleeping or the watersports stuff, but I'm sure the people that appeals to are having a great time.

I'm looking forward to more from this dev. Thanks for making it.

Well story wise, its slow in the beginning but after like15 min (intro thing) its getting my curiosity.
models look nice (well, some ) and to be fair, i can't wait for the upcoming development. i really like this game

It had potential but that went out of the window, too many head scratching decisions as well as overly used clichés like stalling, I'll jump right in it.

Characters:
Models wise, Ruby is this cream of the crop, just my opinion and maybe Grace but she was a side note. The mom Anna isn't bad to look at either, she just wasn't my favorite. Ruby is a very likable character as far as personality goes. The Mom Anna seems to play dumb on a lot of things and that really hurt her character in my opinion.

Story:
We die, we assume the body of a teenager and that's how the story starts off. We are tasked by Aurora to do things to better the life of the people you left behind. You are burdened with an idiot of a son, Lucas and a extremely sad and sort of pathetic daughter, Emma. You also have to pick up in with the life of the teen who's body you're now occupying, which includes living under a roof with your single mom, Anne and your adoring sister, Ruby.

Now to talk about what I liked and disliked about the story:

It started off good, I enjoyed the relationship that Ruby and the MC have throughout the game. I do like that you help out your kids from your other life and don't totally ignore them. You can pretty much skip any girl you're not attracted to, which is a good deal for me.

What I didn't like most of all was the dialogue. Now I could of sworn that the main character was initially a middle aged man? But you wouldn't know that by playing this game. Our MC behaved as if he was a teenager, which threw me off. Sure he didn't need to talk and behave all the time like a 40 year old but some of this was so cringe. One moment that stuck out the most was when he was getting ready to have sex with Emma for the first time, he's all like "I want her cherry" it was so bad. There was no battle within the character from a father standpoint. "Should I really be doing this with my little girl?" none of that type of dialogue came up doing Emma's first sex scene, instead he was just like a hard up teen, this was a reoccurring theme throughout this game, sadly.

Next, the tasks we had to endure was so cringe. Playing match maker to your crappy, miserable ex-wife? That was on the list? Seriously? How about helping her to became a better person and mother instead? Building your daughter up? Making sure your son isn't around shady people? But no, her getting laid was top priority. Lucas, the idiot son was always into shit, which led the MC getting involved with criminals and we then became a snitch/informant to Roxy. I just didn't picture the story going this way from the way it started out, Grace was the only good thing that came out of that whole ordeal.

Lastly, there was too much stalling with your main girls or should I say still is. Now I love romance, build up, character relationship development just as much as the next guy but this was overkill. There's no way that the MC and Ruby should've been doing some of the things they were doing without fucking. Normally, watersports and such comes AFTER you've bedded your love interest but not in Young Again. They've practically teased each other for the entire 14 chapters with no real payoff. It's the same with the Mom, she teases you, you see each other naked, grind on her, she takes a picture of your dick, more teasing and all that lead up to was an Assjob in the later chapters. And what really was the deal with Richard? You "save" her from the creep, though let's be honest either Anne is just too dumb and had no clue what Richard was doing or secretly enjoyed his antics. My money is on the latter, if I'm wrong then it just makes her character look naïve and weak but that's my opinion.

Conclusion: Too much stalling with main love interest, too many girls that we didn't want in our way. After 14 chapters we should've fucked one or both of the main girls already. Head scratching decisions that created unnecessary drama and of course cringe dialogue and situations.

Alas, fuck Natalie and Elliot, I'm not the love doctor and don't enjoy playing one.

AVN are getting better. Real artists are coming into it and there are some high quality games out there.
I play Young Again since chapter 4 or 5, back then this game was very good. It had some mind bending incest and i was really into it. It hasn´t evolved.
I find it sorely lacking now. Perhaps chapter 14 was so bad that my whole opinion seems worse.
I´m being vague because there is nothing really good or even terrible about it. I guess you should try this after you tried everything else.

Started very promising but the more you play the more needless characters other than the family members and a stupid crime subplot on top will distract and/or annoy you.

Devs eventually need to learn to write efficiently and to cut to the chase. Stop sabotaging your own novels with irrelevant stuff. You do yourself a huge disservice by adding all this fancy things. Give us only meaningful (erotic, sexy) situations/build ups with characters you introduced in the beginning and we care about (the quest of Aurora to deal with the two families).

Also thereby development time increases exponentially and people like myself will lose interest (in Chapter 14 there was NOTHING interesting going on with the main characters which was like a big fuc* you).

Fool me once ...

Kinda bugs me how they had a plus-sized character who had semi-realistic proportions, which is incredibly hard to come by on here, and made her skinny in the span of like, what, two weeks? I get that that's what her story arc was designed for, but man, they had a chance to explore a relatively untapped niche and went with something that's been done a zillion times before.

Other than that, it's a good-not-great game. The plot, characters, renders, and animations aren't anything to write home about but they're definitely solid and this game is 100% worth the DL.

The LI's are lovely, except for the principal who's clearly thrown in there to give you some free smut early on in the game. Very cliché and worth a roll of the eyes.
Beyond that it has more than oké graphics and definetly worth the time to play it.

The premise of the rebirth of a loser father character isn’t new but, here it’s well written and executed. For the mentioned premise the story feels really believable to me. As the Dev said, it has a very wholesome touch so far and “just feels good” so that I check the thread regularly for updates. Young again is easily one of the best games I played!

Also: renders are top, didn’t encounter any bugs (played up to Chapter 13). Bonus for being able to screw the Ex-wife

It's an average story to begin with and the excitement goes away after some time and the story becomes boring with less excitement. Maybe I expect too much from the stories.
Although I don't see any limits with how the characters would turn out to be, I did not like most of the characters except for the sister.

I've really enjoyed the game so far. The story is well written and the characters are nice. the main character is a good guy but not a spineless idiot like in many other games. I'm looking forward to how it goes on!

Just completed chapter 13 interesting story loving it so far. The character development is good so far. Erotic moments are on point. Character models are likable and beautiful. Looking forward to future updates

after a first playthrough up to the current chapter available, i can say it was a enjoyable ride so far, i really liked Grace's scenes & would really love to see more of her & hopefully grow the relationship between her and the mc.

Good story arch, albeit slower than usual. Nothing fancy, world changing/saving shit (except the premise ), just an overall nice story flow.

This had an interesting premise but the execution not so much. See I'm a sucker for redemption stories so even though it started out like that later on it just falls into the regular cliche with every random girl wants u for no apparent reason which totally ruined it for me. Even the new principal decided to punish u for bad behavior by having sex seriously
Some renders r good though most r bad. Even the animations r quite stiff in the beginning but i do see improvements with each update so kudos to that

There is a lot of design work missing here, the renderings are 4 out of 10, the story is repetitive like other games. And you have to fix the aesthetic details, at the beginning already, when the character is sitting at the bus stop ... 37 years old and he doesn't touch the ground? he looks like a 7 years old kid, please those details are important. And the animations should be fixed, the static repetition loop is very noticeable (10 frames repeated over and over again). I give one star, I don't think it will change.
And mix a bit the characters, the pj are very generic 8 and 8.1 of the new ones released by Daz Studio. Except for the mc's daughter.

Interesting story and character development. Well written and easy to read so far. Great quality and clean renders. Definitely keeping an eye on this one. Here is to hoping this project makes it to completion!

Version Reviewed: Chapter 10

I was skeptical of the story when I started playing. MC is an older guy...probably in his 50s...and has lived a mediocre life. He was not successful, his marriage to his wife (Nathalie) is dead, and both of his children (son, Lucas; daughter Emma) have some serious problems. But that changes when he's at his lowest. In an act of selflessness, he saves a young man from being hit and killed by a car...at the cost of his own life. Because it upsets the order, his mind is swapped with the body of the young man he saved. The catch is that he has 3 tasks to complete within a year in order to maintain his new life in the new 19 year-old body.

What I had anticipated from that set up...was a bangfest. What I got was something more. MC realizing he has a 2nd chance at life and regrets from his first time through life...actually changes for the better.

The key thing I noticed is that initially MC wants to perform the 3 tasks so he can stay in his 19 year-old body. But as things progress, he does it to a) right the previous wrongs and b) actually cares about the people he's trying to help. It moves from more selfish motivations to more selfless. In short, the story ends up with more heart than you'd expect from the setup.

The graphics are very good...not the best, but above average. The characters are well-defined and believable. They each have their own issues, dreams and quirks. The animations are decent, but not the reason to play this game.

I was pleasantly surprised with this game. The game is worth playing if only for the story. There's not much nudity or sex ...it's just not that kind of game. But if you enjoy a story with some heart, it's a worthy game to try.

Dont stretch the shit out of it, cash cowing it. Once you create a good game, your name itself will be a brand, you can easily move on to other projects without polluting any game u make. lets take A wife and mother, midnight city etc as prime examples of mfing cashcowing asholes

tbh i was thinking about why i like the milf here the best. I think it has something to do with how realistic the creator has made her. She is a single mom with an office job, trying her best to support for her family. Her son had earlier been disobedient, irresponsible and unfeeling towards her and the family, but after the soul swapping, he is now much more mature and understanding.

Little details make a story, for real.

I am studying english honors so I go through stories on a daily basis, and so I understand it very well that stories that stick either have a philosophical backing or ideology behind them or they either possess many, many little details, which make characters relatable and us sympathetic to them. Even the fact that anna looks tired most of the time is something ive noticed. youll notice it too if you carefully study her. And when she sees her son, her mood lightens up. She is proud to have her son now, with all his maturity and yes -- newfound manliness. It attracts her, much as manliness attracts all and any woman. He is also very physically attractive and confident of his sexuality and is not ashamed to give speeches of wisdom for dialogues. He even supports her financially as much as he can and is like a doting father to his sister now. And when things start turning erotic, (sorry i forgot name of the son, lets call her Sam) Sam in his usual confident demeanor, uses humor to defuse the tension. That helicopter scene with the Dick still makes me laugh whenever I think of the game. It was very, very, very unusual and proved shocking to me at first which is why I can still remember it very well. I think any dude with so much casual-ness about his sexuality would be perceived as attractive and yes, like i said, confident. By that silly and spontaneous act of his, they both learnt to be easy going regarding their mutual bubbling attraction.

Theres this really important aspect of incest that developers often forget and even entirely ignore, thats guilt and shamefulness. However, our creator here tactfully removed these two elements from the equation entirely by removing the seriousness of sexual relations. Both mother and son mutually accepts their sexual desires and sees each other as equals and that is possible, and even seems reasonable because his is, in actuality, a 60 year old dude (despite protagonist seeming like a 18 yo teenager). They dont suppress their socially constructed inhibitions (ie, society has constructed theidea that incest is wrong) but rather they partake in an act of mutually enjoying each other's company in every way possible. In other words, they cherish each other. It seems more realistic because she is a woman still in a comparatively sexual age. Shes probably not more than 40, and is without a spouse and seemingly stressed throughout the day due to her office work (nothings more tiring than office work).

The plot makes perfect sense. Its very realistic, really.

One place where the eroticism felt a bit rushed was when she went naked in the bed to show her vagina to her son. That was a fair bit too early I suppose. Say, had a kiss been initiated before that scene and bare breasts been shown in another scene on some other day; all of this should have come before the vagina part comes up, then it would have made more sense. But this little bit of rushedness is acceptable because it wasnt anything game breaking.

One other game that has really good logical incest is in Man of the House. Although comic at times, still the incest part had been given proper time and attention. The reasoning behind committing incest is plausable in the story and that made it all the more interesting. I would really recommend it to othersin case they are looking for incest.

To the dev of this story, id say, great job done, mate. Im really looking forward to the sex between the two. But really, anything works. I just want more Anna. Shes so hot and so real. its an absolute turn on!
