Just Ruby for me and maybe that mobster's daughter. I do plan on playing the mothers path next time as I plan to do a full replay. But I have no interest in anyone else.

Zargon_games Have you considered making the story into a comic? Would love to have the story without waiting for the game
What makes you think that the comic would be completed before the game? Most likely, you would be waiting for the next page of the comic, just like you now wait for the next release of the game.

Also, there are meaningful choices in this game. How do you implement that into a comic? If the developer just chose one and said that was canon, he would piss off a lot of players who chose differently.

Oh man, please don't start! Let the developer focus on his own, it's kind of weird to suggest that when his own project is at stake, which is even going very well in terms of updates and history, so you still want Dev to waste time on comics?

No thanks. Let him finish the VN first. Let's not forget that this developer is also working on another game (or co-author), as far as I remember.

I'd even go so far as to say that the difference in time commitment from the dev between a game and a comic is negligible at best. Coding is NOT the majority of the time spent on these games, rendering and scriptwriting is, and those don't go away for comics. Comics also have panel/page layout and flow to work on, which is likely comparable to time spent coding choices and galleries and suchlike.

If it's that easy, then you, or anyone else, can just take the existing renders and make a comic out of it.

However, I still don't see what you do with all the significant choices in the game. Do you make it like one of those books, where you go to Page x,y or z, based on selecting Choice a, b or c, only with pictures?

Yeah, I'm sure that would be a piece of cake to implement with no significant time commitment at all. /sarcsasm

It's... not easy? No one but that first person who suggested the comic was saying that it was easy.

I was just agreeing that making a comic would NOT be easier than making a game. I'm saying that they're around the same amount of work, with the bulk of the effort being rendering and scriptwriting, then the additional work involved in a game (coding, choices, gui, etc.) being roughly equivalent to the additional work involved in a comic (page and panel layout, dialogue placement, etc.).

However, I still don't see what you do with all the significant choices in the game. Do you make it like one of those books, where you go to Page x,y or z, based on selecting Choice a, b or c, only with pictures?
Generally speaking, no, turning a game into a comic involves picking a canon route, usually the route that includes the most content. While that would simplify writing a little, it's not by enough to make a comic meaningfully easier than a game.

Dayum yall elite gooners lol. I thought the dev had the story complete and just turns it into the game, if so they can pass it down to a comic artist. But yall make great points in it being too much work and fans being mad. It's become apparent to me that this isn't what I want and thus my journey ends here. Keep on !
