I know technical debt is a thing. It is VERY common in these games since most are made by non professionals and they do things wonky because they don't know better. Later on these shortcuts cause MAJOR problems and it is easier to start over because of their shortcuts preventing flexibility. I'm sure it feels bad for everyone, the customers hate it, the developer hates it, but at some point it has to be done when so many hard coded mistakes are built into the game. Feels bad man. Just shows that the coding side of things takes more time than people think if you want it to run smoothly long term.
I want progress too. I really liked the corruption story elements in the jobs, like the flower shop getting yourself in debt to the mob, or the photography turning into porn. I was hoping that every job would have an optional corruption path. I was always waiting for the other jobs to have corruption, but it never did. Now this dream of mine has to be put on hold just to get things back to where they were. /sigh
So I agree with you waiting on the game to fix itself. There is nothing in the game to play yet. The size of this update is pretty sad. I would have assumed they fixed things last update and this update would be starting to reintroduce prervious game elements but they are still working on the engine redesign still. =(
Anyone know how to make the offline pics load properly? I left the pics folder in the same folder (ym-offline) as the html, but no images load once I switch to offline. I used the online version and things seem to load. Also, are there currently any humans she can get pregnant from?

The offline download has 2 compressed folders. You need decompress both but start with the game folder. The pics then need to be properly placed in the games directory. It should be pretty obvious, like the pics folder is merged with the pics folder...
As for pregnancy? No, the game has been redesigned and there are almost no sex scenes. It's like it's a 2 month old game again in progress. It's really bare bones. =(
I thought it would be simple too, extract both zip files, place the game folder, merge the pic folders, and be done. I attached what I have currently, and no images load.
Also there IS pregnancy, I got her to give birth to a pony. Going straight to Zoophilia seems like an odd choice, but it should dispell the vanilla rumors. Though it was this exact process that made me question if there's at least one human she can have sex with, because what sane person would let you get pregnant by a horse and presumably the dog as well, but not a human?

This was an eye opener that explains a lot not only for this case, but for many others as well. Thanks for adding the missing piece of the puzzle for me.
Yeah I hear Wold of Warcraft is full of these things. One example I heard of was that to make a quest NPC levitate in a quest, they added invisible objects to stand on, I think the objects were beds, anyways 2 years down the road someone modified the bed meshes to make them look better and it broken a quest. The NPC that was supposed to levitate (stand on the invisible beds) couldn't and the quest broke. They had no idea why the quest broke and it took serious time to find out that it was the invisible object.
So instead of writing code to levitate, they made a shortcut since it was faster. In the end they spent more time fixing a bug than they would have if they just wrote the code to levitate properly. That's a good example of techincal debt.
In the end, I am not saying we should forgive the developers. They did these things to themselves with shortcuts, I think people have the right to be upset. I just understand how and why it happens.
Nothing was removed, if you go on the devs site you'll find both new and old versions of the game, you can play the exact game at version 11.8.0 before the game was rebuilt from scratch.

The proper thing for the developer to have done would be to admit that the game could no longer progress in the state that it currently exists, and to release the new version in parallel. Perhaps the old version is available somewhere, but removing its availability when there's so much content missing from the new one was a poor decision.

If ya go to her website (link on the OP) and click the 'Play' link - there is a link to the Old Version. It is available to play and she does mention it here in the forum also. Perhaps not that obvious, but it is there for you to play! Enjoy. :>)

I see an anime art style on the cover for this, but real porn in the other images. Is this gonna convert to an that artstyle or is that just bait?
