Yes, we want to see naked male character(s), not FMC! The dev will add more customization of FMC btw.This is about a male love interest pursuing, or being pursued by, a female main character. The images are of the male love interest. Surmounting from that, that the game must not be straight because "there are no girls in the previews" is like seeing any other old game with a preview gallery full of naked women and assuming it must be a lesbian game.
This is what an actual, real FMC game looks like. Get over it. And if it's not your cup of tea, or you don't get it, that's fine. It means you're not the target audience. No biggie, just move along to any of the other 99% of games that are made with you in mind.
Why are you getting all hurt about this game? I don't get it.
If this is directed at me, you might want to reread my comment; I was saying it's interesting how we presume a male subject, which is partially what you're saying only no resentful preaching. It's kind of the opposite of the Netori/Netorare dichotomy we accept. In other words FMC is typically still usually designed for a male player, and this game is the first example I've seen of something unmistakably for FP which I thought typologically cool.This is about a male love interest pursuing, or being pursued by, a female main character. No, it wasn't directed at you specifically. Or at all, honestly. It happened to be posted after a message by you, but wasn't a reply to that message. It was directed at other messages in the thread, that kept requesting it be tagged as gay while very clearly not having played the game. I didn't want to quote all the messages because they were quite a few, so ended up not quoting any.If this is directed at me, you might want to reread my comment;
Sorry if I came across as preaching. I just was getting the vibe that some people (again, not you) were getting resentful that this game was not for them. And that made me resentful in return, I guess. I won't apologize for that, but I do apologize for preaching, which is in poor taste and something I don't like.I was saying it's interesting how we presume a male subject, which is partially what you're saying only no resentful preaching.
Yep, most of the FMC games out there are undeniably made for a male audience. Nothing wrong with that, of course, except that it's basically almost all of them. So when a FMC comes out that caters for a female audience, it's a breath of fresh air. I guess I got a little overprotective because of that, for which again I apologize.It's kind of the opposite of the Netori/Netorare dichotomy we accept. I would be open to continue talking about this with you, with a calm disposition and a better tone, if you're interested. Either here or through private messages. I am willing to see other points of view. I would also understand if you don't feel comfortable talking further about it because my tone made you uncomfortable, in which case I won't press any further, as I wouldn't want to cause you discomfort.FYI I'm more than conversationally interested in bias analysis and intersectional identities and would caution against riding the wave as all it's doing is reinforcing the same oppressive force. Don't want to go on here for various reasons and certainly not with you after that tone./end
you mean Technicolor TVs? from the 60s to the late 70sI didn't understand almost anything about the story of this game, there were times when I even skipped some parts because I didn't understand it so much, another thing I don't know why the game's images have this type of color, it looks like when televisions used to have colors, well that's what I noticed in this first update, I don't know if I'll go back to playing precisely because of these things I mentioned.
Not at all, sorry sorry, you caught that quick I removed the latter part, within seconds!, after I realised your comment wasn't... all that preachy or culture-erasure-y... My reaction was to a misperceived semblance/adherence to the current global trend.No, it wasn't directed at you specifically. Or at all, honestly. Sorry if that made it feel like it was directed at you.
It wasn't.
I can clearly see in your comment that you were saying rather the opposite.

TL/DR;
I'm sorry if I made you feel attacked. It wasn't my intention, and I wasn't replying to you. Sorry.
The game jumps between the POV of Jayce and the MC. When we play the game through Jayce's eyes 1st person POV is used (I, me) and he refers to us aka the MC as 'you'. When in MC's eyes 2nd person POV is used (you, your).I didn't understand almost anything about the story of this game, there were times when I even skipped some parts because I didn't understand it so much, another thing I don't know why the game's images have this type of color, it looks like when televisions used to have colors, well that's what I noticed in this first update, I don't know if I'll go back to playing precisely because of these things I mentioned.
