So the thumbnail of the game makes me thing the protag dies eventually. Or maybe he's already dead and that's why the update is taking so long

Here's the last status update, don't have a release date, but dev says he's close to finish it:

Hello, everyone!
Post only for patreons because it includes adult images.
This week has continued like the last few. Writing the script and rendering the final scene. The renders are almost finished, but there's still a bit more to the script.

Regarding the script, I've finished writing the conversation with the prisoner. As usual, it's longer than expected. It's an optional scene, but playing it will allow the player to understand more about the game's story, and it will allow the MC to unlock conversations in the next update. As with several of the already scripted dialogues, there are topics of conversation that can be skipped if the player gets bored of so much talking.

Anyway, the scene following this optional one is at the pier with Linda, the maid, and depending on the actions of the previous day, there may be an NSFW scene or it may go directly to the next scene with Mrs. Zarcoty, which is the central part of the day at the beach. In any case, the scene with Linda is brief, unlike the scene with the prisoner, which is longer due to the lore involved with this character.

Regarding the renders, I've finished the animations and the post-animation close-ups. A couple of close-up shots of the final conversation and the dialogue itself are still missing. However, this will be finished this week. Once this part is done, all that will remain is to render the cover art, and to avoid further delaying the update's release, I'll leave DAZ3D unused for a few more weeks until the script is complete. Starting to render the next update would take away time that would be better spent writing.

Next week, I'll finish the renders and continue with the script as usual. The script for the second day is linear but includes long conversations, as well as renaming and correcting the renders. The sooner I finish the renders, the sooner I can focus on the part that's delaying the update. So, next week will be the last week I publish renders of new scenes, as they will all be finished by then.

My plan is to publish in-game scenes of what's already finished to illustrate these posts. Obviously, it's a visual novel, and there's little difference between the renders and the in-game version, but I also don't want to publish posts without any visual references.
Regarding Love in Futa Time 2:
The editing of this last chapter still in progress.
