yes i am aware, and i get that one save wouldnt work with the other, however this doesnt answer my question of weather it would overwrite the file, i still want to continue my public version save after

The game uses C:\users\<Username>\appdata\local\Yuna for the saves and settings. Just make a backup copy of the entire Appdata Yuna folder and then launch the old version of the game. Easiest way will be to rename the Yuna folder to Yuna.bak and then just let the Patreon version recreate all of the folders and files for you.

Unless the save system was completely rewritten, your saves should be fine. Your settings files might be an issue, but saves should be okay.
