I didn't remove any godsSomething that's been bothering me. I originally started the game when the game first dropped and really enjoyed it. Now that I made a return to it, my save is broke because the god I chose originally was removed as a choice. Does anyone know why?
Nemesis. It's the god that I chose when the game first dropped. It's not a choice anymore.I didn't remove any gods
It never was. Nemesis was cut content even before the first release dropped. It was meant to be a NG+ option for after the game is finished, but the idea was scrapped. If you had Nemesis as a choice, the files were altered and the option uncommented.Nemesis. It's the god that I chose when the game first dropped. It's not a choice anymore.
Well, somehow I ended up with a copy back then that still had it. Anyway, it's why I restarted and now it just feels different than I remember. It never was. Fuck... already bought this game, so I'm committed, but seeing comments like this is bumming me out. Forced RO death. Forced lame opinion on getting revenge. I thought the morality system would be more meaningful when I played earlier versions...Stolen_rose (if the right dev) Wow... I can honestly say while initially confusing the whole structure of the latest episode is so creative and brilliant.. honestly brilliant that you made me forget my usual stance on non mc renaming games... HOWEVER... after the massive praise i have i also have to add a major dislike... killing off a LI i wont say who for spoiler reasons.. much like the early ending with a side LI in a prior chapter i do not like at all... yes it adds emotional depth to the story BUT far to many games have had this early endings formula and i honestly feel it destroys the FULL story of the work your intending to make.. if your on X LI's path yet still want to see the book as a whole play out you dont want to be removed from the story too early just to fulfil being with a specific LI.. (i got side tracked on a diff issue there) as for killing off important LI's and friends (characters) yes it served as a dramatic moment but it would have been far better to see her character grow in the following chapters now she was 'free' of her controller..
Again I have become a BIG fan of this title from my initial dislike for stupid reasons.. it has an amazing story (especially with the latest update) and i actually look forward to see where it goes STORY wise.. but for the love of all ancient gods you mention.. please stop using the characters as fodder.. let them grow with the story and not serve as executable story drama.. Please

There are different kinds of hunters -> like Brandon for example. I think she is not the strongest kind or not a fighting type. I would assume that not all of the abilities granted are useful for fighting. So why tunnel vision on a hunter being good at fighting. Maybe she is good at tracking, hiding, stalking (like a hunter duh), etc. Some of which she did btw. Don't use her fight against the MC as a measuring stick. He is clearly not a fighter unless you choses astarte I guess. Is there a purpose to Keira being a hunter?
All she's done is get her arse kicked ...... by the same Vampire ...... repeatedly.
Could have made her a normal girl and had her get beat up, it would have been the same. Hell, the Succubus that didn't want to fight has done more damage to the Vampire than the woman purposefully chosen and trained to kill them. Caleb put up more of a fight.
Don't get me wrong, I adore her character, she's joint first with Rayne as fave girls because I couldn't choose between them ..... doesn't stop her being a shit hunter though.
I'm genuinely hoping it's going to have a HUGE payoff because so far she's been more of a liability in the fighting side.
From what I remember - Keira is a Sword, hunter who tracks and kills monsters, as well as Brandon (according to Keira at least), they're the same type. There are different kinds of hunters -> like Brandon for example. I think she is not the strongest kind or not a fighting type. I think she also mentions that herself. Being a scout or something. It's also not her task to kill I think. She is out for revenge.
Don't quote me on this though. Just replay the Keira path.
She says near the start she is one of the swords, the fighters. It's her job to hunt and kill monsters. There are different kinds of hunters -> like Brandon for example. You remember badly,Brandon is a shield.Nope

Besides Sword there're also Shield (protectors) and Eye (spies)
I don't understand why her being a hunter should automatically make her stronger than the vampire. Brandon is clearly just strong. While Rayne can acquire strength under certain circumstances, but it's not a competition. She says near the start she is one of the swords, the fighters. It's her job to hunt and kill monsters.
Thx for that although I feel like it already makes plenty of sense without that explanation.I think I can reveal this without it being a spoiler, since it's not that important to the plot: Keira is a Sword Hunter, who are more focused on fighting, but she specializes in infiltration. The reason she's not as powerful as others is because of when she received the call.
The call boosts the power of the hunter when they receive it, but that boost doesn't scale. Keira was an extremely powerful child, but the boost was diminished as she grew older. As opposed to this, people like Shizune or Brandon who got the call at their human peak are considerably more powerful.
IndeedYou remember badly,Brandon is a shield.
