So the goo has some electrical ability according to the LORE that it uses to tease the girls, and it can hijack the robot.
Apparently. Some additional lore:

In p02 the bot leaves to go back to a maintenance bay, to get some glitches (caused by the mold) checked out. After a bit of time, the mold (identified as a threat by the bot) got all the way into its sensors and processing. Causing a malfunction in it's threat detection. It basically detects threats everywhere now, even though it is smart enough to understand that a detected threat without organisms present is a false positive. When it passes through the vents below Desi's office, its wall/floor penetrating sensors detected threat + organism, a true positive, and went in to neutralize

The more I see it the more I hate it, "AI" art is stolen art.
Well, Zero himself is testing much things out and he even posted fanart about his work in his art folder, so I guess he really don ´t mind it at all if ppl use AI to make fanbased pictures of his stories and art. So the "stolen art" saying is maybe a bis too harsh, as long as ppl don ´t copy his art to make profit out of it.

AI itself will being a part of the future, it can ´t be helped, there might be a time where you can ´t see if something is AI made or hand drawn, as long as the quality is ok of AI works I don ´t mind it.
The positive thing is, we will see more art in the future, the negative thing is, it will lose some of it ´s charme, I think it´s the same like in movies for example, hand drawn cartoons just look better then the computer animated stuff, at least for my taste. But there are some well done computer animated movies too, so maybe it ´s more a thing about the content/story itself and not primary of the way the art is done, time will tell.

Here's the missing "lore" from the most recent update:

actually, this stuff is just elastic high strength expanding glue, it does not corrode any materials. all her clothes are still intact underneath all that goo
its properties might change once the mold mixes in with it
that is happening now only because it got introduced to humans. in the wild it grows like a normal mold, nothing serious, but humans are like meth to it, and a great source of essential chemicals needed for growth

So more goo mixed with a electric mold that the girls can become 'one' with. I wonder if this will lead to the idea of puppetry or some form of living clothes or they transmit it like a contagion

Rather late, but looks like someone made a LORA, if you've got stable diffusion working.

I know it has it critics, but I don't mind (some!) AI art. This one looks really good, similar to a story called "Scouting Mission" in ZeroGravitas's "commissions" mega folder. I would love to see more of it, if you wanted to start a thread for it I will check it out!

I never figured out how to run those image generators, so I'm completely reliant on folks like you for these.

To address the annoyance other people showed, I agree that its not as good as ZeroGravitas's actual work, but its not too far behind and this has the potential to give a massive amount of new content, especially when we're getting non-sexy updates every 2 weeks for months on end.

I posted some yesterday but the mods removed it. Happy to share again but I don't want to break the rules.

Only a single page this week.

The good news, though, is that last week's update mentioned that the artificial goo that the robot shoots would have suffocated her, implying that she would die soon if nothing changed, while this page seems to be implying that the mold creature that is piggybacking off the bot is fusing with the artificial goo, so hopefully this will bring a quick end to the "she might die" tension.

Obviously this is purely my opinion, but I think its best when there's not really a risk of death.

Side note, gizgizwiz and matt12234, if either of you start a ZeroGravitas AI thread, please let us know. Anything to fill these slow phases where updates are small and not even to the sex yet would be welcome.

Another bit of "lore":

It is a slime mold that has a particular taste for human synthesized hormones. It can generate electric impulses, which allows it to interfere with (human) nervous systems and mess up robots. it will eat almost anything, except meat, metals and other tougher materials

valid but imho it's even better if there's a risk. not full on guro, but having some sense of peril would make it absolute peak
Personally, I think the sense of peril should only come from the risk of getting dragged into the monster's den, raped and possibly bred, for an indefinite amount of time, and not from getting killed. But that's just my preference.

Best one that ZG did for that was the slugvore IMO, the ending having her still trapped inside the creature left the fate open ended until he reused her character

yeah dude try make some .
more tentacle action and the biolab goo stuff.
seconded, esp the tentacles

The real negative thing is that lots of artists will lose their source of income. The goal of technology is to relieve us from the burden of doing uninteresting stuff to dedicate more time to creating and learning. This so-called "AI" (it's not AI but whatever) is doing the exact opposite : taking away the creative and interesting tasks to give us more time to feed the orphan crushing machine.

You're talking about computer animation like no humans were involved, but having worked in that department I can garantee you couldn't be farther from the truth.

The only reason "AI" is thriving and being shoved down our throats in every possible products is because tech moguls see it as a way to oust these pesky artists who demand getting payed for their work and won't draw them anything for visibility (can you imagine that?). And this applies to every creative jobs btw, scenarists, photographers, animators, you name it! Even developpers are at risk here.

There is really NOTHING positive about streamlining creativity.
