I love his attention to detail on the gear. Her dropleg holster is rightfully clipped to her belt instead of just stupidly wrapped around her thigh like most clueless artists do, and it’s also fastened at the proper height where she wouldn’t have to lean sideways at all to unholster her sidearm. He usually draws their kneepads fastened correctly too(or just integrated into their pants) and her chestrig/plate carrier setup actually makes sense for what she carries and how she fires prone with a bipod. Visible IFAK on her belt(right-handed). One of the few mistakes I can see is that unless there’s softer material lining the underside of her shoulder straps, that narrow tank top underneath won’t stop her chest rig from scraping the hide off her shoulders over time/movement.

XCOM 2 going to have resurgence of players whenever this comes out, it would be very... interesting to see ZG works in XCOM's world, seems fitting... in one way or another, perhaps.

Told me to read again what they linked, about a mod by ZG in the works for XCOM 2, and I simply informed them "... whenever this comes out." Which is unlikely to happen. I didn't read fully what they said.

I suppose it's on me asking that and Slitheris's tone are rather... aggressive, for lack of better descriptor.

Don't worry. I'm good and probably it's all on me, too. I did find the tone quite harsh but it's all good to be reminded to read what people wrote. :D

What I can offer you as a meager recompense is ZG's extra commentary on the "Lily Pad" monster:

So the way it works is that prey that is to be digested is kept submerged in the slime, held down by the tentacles. Critters that are supposed to spread the seed are also submerged and then pushed back up to the surface after implantation, and can crawl out eventually. Seeds are released from the carrier after some time, hopefully in a place with good soil and lots of prey. The slime itself becomes more transparent the more the lilypad hole fills up. So we can see all the action. But canonically because the stuff becomes more diluted as more slime is added.
