I don't know man. It seemed pretty clear to me? Simple matter of stopping doing something one doesn't enjoy making. I don't think there's really any evidence to doubt his words as he's been always very clear with his community and didn't make excuses or rip off people. Man's got a good reputation which in this scene is a rare thing.

I would believe it right away if he didn't have Patreon lol.
But with Patreons Marketshare, their shitty(often arbitrary applied) artistic expression hampering rules and the fact that there have been Artists bending over and doing weird stuff to get on or stay there, there is always that little bit of doubt when an Artist has Patreon and changes his content to be more conformist.
That being said, it doesn't matter why. That would not be on ZMSFM either, it would be on Patreon, he needs to do what he thinks is right either way.
Also with his recent releases it's quite plausible he lost interest in Beastiality and gained an interest in Futa(or joined the proverbial train).

Ye but patreon is his side site. Substar has always been the powerhouse (Which is why I use it as you just have direct downloads and can ask questions without worry). Where patreon isn't even anywhere linked or mentioned. If it was related to patreon, his socials and patreon itself would have everything purged as they are very clear about what they want or don't want.
It's legitimately case of not wanting to animate animals in my opinion. For the best probably. I've said in the past that it's better for beasts to be cut than ZMSFM burning out. Similarly to what happens to promising artists as they get "older" and do things that others want, rather things they are passionate about.

Interests change over time indeed. Assuming they were there at the first place. I did notice however that most of Futa works is reserved to Baldur's Gate. Not that it matters too much. There's always the monster and human animations. Output of 4 animations monthly is still great.

Honestly. I see no Problems in the comments there, some people like Futa, I don't. He doesn't shove it in my face so who cares. I will go ahead and say that ZMSFM doesn't bend to the will of the subs. If he did he would have kept the Bestiality.

He does do interesting things and makes polls, monsters and stuff like that but surrendering control barely ever goes well. Seems like dropping beast content has served him better more than anything.

Life goes on, I guess. As I said earlier, there are always other artists who do purely beasts. Not same quality but still.
Best part is that doing bestiality is in demand. Which means more artists will inevitably rise to fill the hole.

My point is more that after he stopped doing what he doesn't enjoy, suddenly his career wasn't ruined or anything. More so; people started interacting with him more. Sometimes it's hard to remember that huge portion of people aren't really fan of women getting fucked by animals.

I don't doubt he gained some futa fans but I don't think he's consistent enough with output to keep them around like actual futa artists. More so when majority is just BG3.
Also he doesn't do oversized proportions.

I tend to comment on the technical aspect of his creations which is what interests me the most, his craft. For instance, the Oni animation wasn't for me fap wise but I thought the visual narrative/ progression was so impressive that I kept it.
