ZMSFM was just overworked. No surprises there because he had the insane idea to make for 3 weeks regular scheduled animation. Then for last week of the month work on the movie.
I guess enough time has passed to feel comfortable about making more movies.

Hi Gang! Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and wish you all a greaat Holiday season!! Hope y'all having fun!! I got a heavy blanket, some pillows and an art books (It's very cold)
After all this time I am planning a new long project! Last time being Project: Omega which was almost 3 years ago. As many of you know these projects are very very stressful and mentally tolling which is why I haven't made another one since then. In these years tho, I learned A LOT of things, improved a lot my quality, workflow and work schedule which makes me feel kinda ready to do it again! Basically along with quality I learned to manage my work better to allow myself to rest more!
How long will it be?
I don't know yet how long it will be, it's hard to tell right now, but probably something similar to the projects I did in the past. What I can tell is that I've planned about 7 Sex Scenes accompanied by story scenes!
How long will it take?
I am not certain yet, again, it's very hard to tell because I have improved a lot and learned a lot of things since last time but I don't want to underestimate the difficulty of a long project. So far my estimations are:
-3 Months to pose it and animate it.
-Then it will be sent to voice actors to be voiced, meanwhile I will go back to the regular normal schedule until the movie is fully voiced.
-After that I think it should take me half a month to animate the faces based on the voice acting, feedback it, fix all the errors and polish it. And in the end mix the audio and finally render it.
So, in total it will be about: 3.5 months of work.
What's the Plot?
It's gonna be a Baldur's Gate 3 animation, the plot is not 100% defined yet, it will feature Shadowheart and be set in the House of Grief, before the events of BG3.
When will I start working on it?
I have yet to decide whether start it from next month or instead wait for February and take more time to write the script and prepare storyboards but very likely I will start working on it next month.
Why Baldur's Gate 3
Something I learned from the past experiences is that, I can't stress it enough, long projects are very hard. I need something I like a lot, I'm very comfortable with and I'm in the mood for.
The BG3 character I like the most outside of my OCs is Shadowheart which also happens to be the most popular, but the choice is mostly based on my personal taste which luckily happens to be a popular one for once LOL. The models are easy to use and high quality. I have a lot of assets that can be used to build the maps thanks to the super talented people of this community. Since the release of the game my interest in it has never went down, it's just such a great game and I'm so for making a movie out of it! Also I have a lot of experience setting up BG3 scenes and fantasy scenes at this point so that helps
What's gonna happen to the schedule?
Something I learned from previous movies is that, it's stressful. It's really exhausting and hard but looking back at it, there surely was a management issue. D: My workflow wasn't the best and the schedule was really hard to keep up and I ended up taking almost an entire year of exhausting work to finish it.
This time's workflow and schedule:
Let's start from the most important part: The Schedule. This time I will focus more on the movie. Each month the content will be around the movie and the monthly animation poll.
-The normal schedule will be paused. I will dedicate as much time as I can to the movie, it will also help me save money to pay for the voicing of the movie.
-I will keep making the monthly poll animation which will have more time dedicated to it than the usual.
-I will post updates on the state of the movie every week.
-I will regularly post WiPs of the movie and exclusive WiPs for supporters of all tiers, including animated WiPs.
I MAY make posters and occasionally some very short animations in my free time just to take the mind off the movie. Knowing myself, I have a hard time working on the same project for long so I will very likely occasionally take a 2-3 days off to make something else.
Monthly animation poll changes
Since I won't be able to make many animations a month like I regularly do, some bans will be shorter. Monster animations ban will last only 1 month instead of 2 since it's by far the category you like the most.
-For sake of variety, characters and universe bans will last until the end of the movie production.
-Baldur's Gate will be banned from the poll until the release of the movie, I may occasionally make some BG3 content myself cause I love it
-Every 2 months, I will introduce a variety pick month where only characters I never used before are allowed to be in the first poll!

I think futa Karlach version is missing
Much like the Karlach animation, a prime opportunity for a preggo variant was missed.
There is the other response, aesthetic of the body, and there is also the human urge to take another person's conquest for your own. I saw something about people rating other people more after they found out they are married.
Which is weird when you dig deep into it. The urge to have sex stems from the basic instinct to procreate. You cannot impregnate a woman that's already pregnant. Dwight Schrute explains this rather well to Pam in The Office. I believe its urges like this that categorizes a species as sentient and proves that they have evolved past their base instincts.
