Because some people can't think before they start spazzing out when exposed to certain inputs. They go into a sort of violent fugue state where nothing matters except destroying whatever set them off. They can't be reasoned with, they can't be bargained with, they can't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And they absolutely will not stop, ever, until their target and their own dignity are dead.
Holy shit the constant fucking pauses in dialog are dogshit.
Everyone... talks... like... this... and there is... a programmed... pause... that makes you wait... for a whole... god damn... second... with each... ellipsis...
It's a shame, too, because I like the premise and the game seems to be otherwise well made and scripted, but this pausing shit is such a wildly bad decision I just can't understand why the dev did it.

You can name everyone except the main character, guess I'll just have to go into the .json files in www/data and change it myself.

Do you mean 2DCG with 3DCG? because no matter how i see it, this is 3DCG (honey select) build on RPGM (2D Game) engine.

The text and cutscenes move so slow that it pads out the game to 10x as long... lame
I found a solution. You need to limit the frame rate. I could do in the Nvidia control center and just turned it on for this game.
Is there a way to...speed up the text? It keeps having these...interruptions in the middle that you...cannot speed up.
It's alright in...small doses. But it is happening...every other sentence. And it is...getting a little bit...annoying.

If you imagine that every time you see a ... that the character stops talking to take a drink of water, all those interruptions become a lot funnier.
