Yeah, I've been to the laundromat every night, and there is no key or anything clickable in there except for the girl. :(

What a nice (annual) attempt to get new subcribers from a newcomers of this site, who can still be deceived by the looks of it, because they're new to it. It seems to be the only purpose of releasing the updates throughout the last few years. People subscribe -> they forget they subscribed and that they're paying a small amount of money monthly automatically -> there's a lot of subcriptions like this -> easy passive income. And from the start there was a variety of female characters and tropes that are specifically tailored to gather as much audience (with diverse tastes) as possible. Yes, now it all makes sense. Bravo on the dev's marketing skills.

Nothing new, seems to be the going thing lately. Even with another game in my signature, they are talking a reboot and its like 4 years in, and lucky if you have a yearly update as it is. Its all about the whiney people who want changes in the story who donate money or as you said gain new followers. All about the benjamins in the end and always will be. Personally if you are gonna write a novel, you write it how you want to and finish it...THEN release it once you are done. This is just a money milk machine like when people sell chapters to books they write on amazon for 99 cents.
Ive abandoned over half the Vn's I used to enjoy due to the constant milking of the story or re-writes/changes in character models. Its even worse when they were on a good run and then decide to change things so much you just wanna slap em in the back of the head. I think the only way to force these people to get things out on a timely manner is put a limit to how long F95/other sites will allow people to have to complete a Vn, or delete it off the servers if not complete (course you know someone would just find a workaround like they do with abandoned tags). This is why I refuse to donate money to these people, you dont pay for an unfinished game/product, why pay for an unfinished story. Its like selling you a car with most of the parts missing and saying, well give you they parts when we feel like it, but keep paying on it.

You failed to consider the message at the very start of the game.
The Dev tells people right up front that the game will always be free to play.
If anyone chooses to donate any money to the dev, it is their choice to do so, for however long, or short a time that they choose to do so.

The game is simply something that they do, when they have the time to work on it.
They have a real job, and a real life that comes first.
They are not creating it for money, or it would not be listed as free to play, even when it is done.
