I wouldn't even say that it got too big, it's just them getting lazy and milking the hell out of it. Overall this game is a straight forward story without any choices that would impact the narrative in a way.

As I said before, the main problem is that the story is not going ANYWHERE, how can you do a good when you don't even know where the fuck are you going, what impact will have X or Y choice you make. The biggest hole Sierra left, is teh direction of the game, and since she left, that hole never get fixed

When the dev first introduced it, I understood those low quality repeatable CGs to be for some extra minor scenes. Instead, it seems like dev is getting lazy and just using those assets for all scenes. Just take a look at the recent entries in the replay gallery lol.

Exactly, that's my main problem with them. As a concept I thought they'd be used as repeatables for Tavern/Inn/Prostituting things so they can get variations n stuff without having to draw whole ass scenes for all of it. But it got way out of hand, I mean most of Bri... Briz?... The bossy catgirl... most of her scenes are those low quality repeatables, but she deserved better. As you said, many scenes that should get their own scene get the shit-treatment.

I've been playing Third Crisis recently (Knew about the game back when it was just v0.1) and I have to say, it's pretty solid for a v0.5, I do have some gripes with it, but overall, I'd recommend it along with the other recommendations I posted earlier in the thread.
