Nerion used to disappear for a long time, like year and even more, but he did comeback. Almost 2 years past. Maybe he will back again... who knows

Truthfully, It doesn't seem like it this time around. He's a scumbag getting free money from patreons and subscribestar for doing absolutely nothing... Who wouldn't want free money coming in every month and delivering no benefits whatsoever? for the past 2+ years?

Don't huff copium people, it's over. The Abandoned tag is there for a reason... just be thankful the game existed in the first place.

You're right, and im actually curiouss too why ppl just cant cancel the sub for patreon. Also, how do people get abadoned tag? After the author says he wont update the game or after 3-6 months with no updates?

People who genuinely forgot to cancel or probably whales... it's every creator's dream to lure in a whale that will just continue the subscription regardless of quality/quantity and the subscription amount is so miniscule to them that it's not even worth the effort to cancel it. Pretty sure there are still dumbos that willingly give money in hopes for an update that's never coming.

I would wish those platforms would auto-cancel the sub if the creator doesn't deliver anything, but they're getting a cut too so they don't mind lol

Regarding abandoned tag, yes if the game is unfinished and the creator goes AWOL, stops responding anywhere without any notice/updates for more than a year then most likely it gets the abandoned tag. It also applies if the creator moves on to a next project and willingly abandons the game... which is not the case for nerion and FOM.

Man, I'd actually volunteer to get that great game of the acursed RPGMaker engine. Unity or Godot would work wonders on games like this.

The latest version (MZ) isn't bad actually, runs on your phone and web browsers. Can do everything a browser can. Script editor remains a pile of dog poo tho.

The game Fall:Out v0.36 got the abandoned tag 3 years ago... Now the Devs came back with update 0.4
There is still hope guys maybe Nerion will return too

Of course, if Nerion still returns and the game is completed, it will be wonderful, on any engine, although ren'py is the least good and suitable, to be honest, this engine is generally the worst, it's easier to read a novelle than to play on such an underdeveloped engine, perversion.

I love f95 because it allows you to filter out Ren'py games. I simply don't care about VN like games (glassix and LabRats 1 being the only exception), and filtering this engine makes it really easy to get rid of low-effort games. RPGM is also crap, but if you develop with it you show that you have dedication!

Fortunately there are fans out there willing to continue the legacy. There's a ton of plugins that require dealing with so its taking a while.

rpg maker is good is you know to use it i seen many game that was better that unity one when unity is badly use
in the end it depent of what skill he have as a author
