Enjoy. Should work across versions, safely. Edit: It uses an unusual means to provide this functionality. If it breaks anything in the game let me know and I'll check that out. I might do a check for 'if in gallery' before returning True.

I got to ask, since this game has been in development for over 7 years now, is it worth getting into? I don't want to play the game only to find out that the first few hours are a slog to get through, and have the quality you would expect from that long ago.

It depends on your definition of "worth it". There are a variety of characters (and LIs) of varying genders and races; there is an in-depth world built with clear attention to detail and obvious love; there is an involved plot with choices that affect how future history itself (within the world) will be different. "Worth it" can mean a hell of a lot of different things to different people. Personally, I find it all great and love it when an update comes out. :giggle:

What do you mean by 2016? It's a game that's almost 8 years old. You're like aged wine, bro. ( : I've never played this game before, do you think I should?

I wonder if this is the longest game that is still having updates around here? Of course the speed in which they are released helps it to become such a long running series lol

If you have never played, then go for it. It is nice.
Unles you are anti-fan of never finished games ... in that case avoid.


But if you have played it, then definitely avoid it. It is one of those games where you wait for update forever.

Wut? So if you haven't played it, do . . . unless you don't like "never finished games" . . . but then also, if you've already played it, avoid it? Dafuq?

(Also, I have no idea how you qualify this as a "never finished game", given this hasn't been abandoned and is still being worked on by the dev actively.)

I am just glad to see their still developing it, unlike so many dev that abandoned games or just walk away from games no word no nothing.
IMO with what the dev's have so far in the game, the game is worth playing even if it's not finished yet.
Just my 2cents :)

Honestly... Chapters 1-4 could seriously use some touching up. Why not do a semi rework while we are at it and add the options for white MCs while we are at it.

That said, didn't really see anything to to begin with since I remember last playing. Then again... This game has been forgettable to say the least. Way too long of a development period. I remember this being one the first few AVNs that really got me into the AVN realm. Kinda sad to see.

Sorry for the confusion. There were some insider jokes involved and I realise it might look confusing to some people.

As for "never finished" part:
There are games, that are officially getting worked on. But in reality the developer gets absolutely bare minimum work done. Just enough work so he can claim "I am working on it and thus you should keep sending me money".
Majority of those games like that will never get finished. The devs might claim they are working on it and it will get done some day, but it wont.

PS: I am not claiming that every single developer is scam artist. There are always some exceptions to rules. There are some honest developers that are actually forced into bad work by circumstances.

Yeah, sorry I didn't get the joke. In any case, although this has a slow development cycle, I don't remember a release that didn't have quite a bit of content (but I read it all, so if anyone Ctrl-skips it wouldn't seem as lengthy). And I also haven't seen any signs that Mad Docs would abandon this. From what I can recall, the longer development times are standard for this VN.

PSA: 9.2 is not a new update. It's been the version posted on their website for a long time. I guess someone finally thought it was worth packing and posting here, despite being mostly fixes.
