Is the "thoughts" part of the hints meant to be part of the walkthrough? Because it tell me to do something even when the top right part says I'm at max progress.

This game desprately needs some way to tag a girl to the main screen so you dont have to constantly check in the girls tab and scroll through them all. Being able to tag 3-4 girls that just updates the quest to the next point would make this so much easier to play.

I got to the end of one girls updates and just closed the game because its annoying to constantly have to check that screen over and over finding out where to go next.

I think a brief summary/description of each girl in the girl's section would do the trick especially for people who haven't played in a while to remember who's who.

Thoughts are supposed to be the main character's "in character" thoughts of where he's at and where it's going with the girl.

Progress Hints are "out of character" tips for the player to see the next available content.

Thoughts will be there for content that does not yet exist.

I think I'll be adding a description of Thoughts to the Gameplay tab of the F1 help screen to add further clarity. I don't have a clear sentence in my head to describe it yet, but I'm sure in the next month I'll figure something out!

The more I think about this, the more of a good idea it seems. It may not be in the next update or the one after, but eventually I would like to implement such a system. Thank you for the good idea.

The event occurs while sleeping in the bed in the Master Bedroom.

The middle of the night while sleeping has to be within 1am to 5am.

So, if sleeping 4 hours, the 4 hour sleep would have to be started from 11pm to 3am (adding 2 hours to those start times would be 1am to 5am).

Just checked out 0.7 briefly. Hint system looks robust (and you're getting decent QA feedback on it), dorm navigation is still a P.I.T.A. Focusing on making the GUI show where events are happening should be a priority if you're serious about this, it'll upscale the user experience exponentially and make the sheer amount of content a lot less over-bearing (trust me: code this, it's what you should be doing).

As a serious thing: you could do something quite special here, with the content you've already made - at the moment, the game is still "move to new location, and WHAM, MOOOAR SEX, ALL DAY" which isn't exactly a criticism. More varied sex / foreplay you've already noted (and I flagged this up in my 1st feedback thread about it all merging into a blur). If you gave a few thoughts to some narrative elements and unlocks, you already have a VN that's better than 90% of the market. And you'd easily triple the play-time (and give older players more of a chance to calm down between the multiple sex scenes).

No joke. It's worth a thought - usually VNs are lacking the sex rather than the story, you've the luxury of ... well, the opposite, which is something I've never seen before: you could give each character a mini-story (just writing) and pace it out (you have a time system) and put in a basic relationship web (i.e. X character = stage 2, then story of Y character starts / progresses etc).

As a tip: currently each encounter with a woman spams you with +++ love / lust points: you can easily put a few of those behind mini-events / chatting / dialogue choices and the players really won't mind (and it puts a bit more "game" into the VN, which is never a bad thing). [1]

Anyhow: whatever you do with it, this is a mighty impressive 1st effort. Quality stuff.


[1] Feel free to shoot me a DM about this. Baldur's Gate 3 shows just how thirsty people are for decent writing content these days, which is .... well. Being the pr0n version of BG3 is probably a good thing, isn't it?

Now the only two events I've not managed to trigger are the ones that require you to wake up between 2 and 4 in the morning. I tried sleeping till 3 for like 2 weeks straight but never managed to get them to fire.

Here's a full explanation, in case somebody has a more succinct way of describing it:

1) The event is checked for half-way through the sleep cycle.

a) 4 hour sleep will check 2 hours after going to sleep
b) 8 hour sleep will check 4 hours after going to sleep
c) 12 hour sleep will check 6 hours after going to sleep.
d) note: 1 to 2 hour naps do not check for events.

2) A "middle of night" event from 2am to 4am (there are a couple) will require sleeping at a time and for a duration in which the midpoint of sleeping occurs between 2am and 4am. For example:

a) 4 hour sleep would need to start between midnight and 2am
b) 8 hour sleep would need to start between 10pm and midnight
c) 12 hour sleep would need to start between 8pm and 10pm.

I need to write the hint in a way that makes more sense. Perhaps I should just give the 8 hour sleep hours? For example, instead of "middle of night sleep 2am to 4am" it would be "sleep in Master Bedroom for 8 hours from 10pm to midnight"? Would that work? To note: Sex Hints, by their very nature, do not include each and every way for them to occur, but just the easiest/most common way.
