If I'm not mistaken, the artist for this game was Sumeragi Kohaku. He/she (it's a gender neutral name so I don't know) has been involved in many other projects, but you'll see the art varying in style, and in most cases I've seen the character designs don't look very similar to what they look like in this Doukyuusei Remake.

The reason might be that Kohaku was trying to emulate the original designer's style while also mixing it with a modern take, resulting in what we've got. That said, there are some projects in which you can actually see more similarities. Here's the

Here i am looking for a dating sim revolving people my age and it's like shopping at a second hand market.
Don't get me wrong, i'm not saying it's bad. But i come here see what i can't see irl and this one in particular is basically the same thing.

I love the original writer of doukyuusei 1,2 and kakyuusei 1 and 2 because his style is serious but at the same time funny and although you can change the names of the protagonists, the guys have a well-defined personality and not spineless idiots like the protagonists of current visual novels. But the writer sometimes really went to far putting things where he shouldnt be in my opinion xd. In fact, it is said that the writer of these games retired after crontroversy in another game where he was criticized for not being as good as before. Is a rumor that he continued writing with various pseudonyms in the company and form there he made games either netori or netorare. Im played a bit of kakyuusei 2 and the style is suspiciously similar to his previous games. Its as if they were the same writer lol(and the kakyuusei 2 writer only wrote that game and never again other, sooo very suspicious xd). Although the writer was very good and brought the company to glory, he also ruined it, making it gradually go from being a mainstream to a niche company to bankruptcy.

I gotta say, the main art goes so hard. Like I was ready for a good ass, very heart wrenching, filled with emotion story.



But after 16 hours in my first read idk it doesn't hook me. Probably because it's a dating simulator with multiple girls I can't seem to get attached to anyone. Like too many girls but very little developement. It's like Mafia 3 open world, It would've been better if they ditch that idea and focus more on the story. I much prefer Nanairo Reincarnation. Although it does have multiple endings with different girls it's much more linear cause we all know the easiest ending to get is the canon one :')

In the original Satomi's character is different I think. She loses her virginity to the other guy and she really liked kenji but for the other guy it was just another conquest. I don't know more than that because I just did some research. What I love about these games is their protagonists but their antagonists are pretty annoying haha. Although if you play well, except in some cases like Satomi, the protagonist can always get any girl first.

Darn, when I check the CG of this game, the remake version not only missing Miho sex scene it also missing Yoshiko-sensei scene. I'm not sure if they actually have sex but at least she's complete nude.

Try this two solutions.Personally i use virtual machine one is on windows xp but i don't recommended if you not advance in programming...

There are two older version of the game, one is PC98 version and another one that look similar to the remake. You can tell them easy by the PC98 version have pixel quality, and the another version look smoother, however they can't compare with the remake quality. Both version have Miho and Yoshiki scene.
Try google keyword "[Elf] Doukyuusei (PC98) CG" and you might found them.
