damn I HATE getting your stuff stolen. and yet you still need to progress the trial or the asshole is going to ruin your country. remind me again why I refuse to go outside.

sure, I hear you there. but who told the heroine that this is her duty? this was nobody's duty. some kingdoms are just meant to fall into ruin. this is one of them.
edit: I changed my mind. the entire thing is just a setup. you're a princess with 5m gold. I was wondering why you have such a BIG CASH for a mere trial. I mean, if they can afford that, then surely they can also afford a support team for her outside the dungeon. it can really just go down to info gathering or price checking or just domestic duties. maybe that way she wouldn't get robbed on her first day. but yeah, plot conveniences...

1: The trial ends the moment the magical crystal leaves the range of the sea god's blessing. This locks it into its current color for checking purposes. So she can't leave town until her crystal indicates that she's surpassed her brother.
2: This is her duty because every other member of her family has already taken the trial, and each member is only allowed one try. Normally, the trial works perfectly, but her evil brother did something to skew the results. The trial is also very important to confirm that her family still has the powers of the hero, which are necessary to defeat the demon king should he rise again.
3: The member of the royal family isn't allowed to receive aid from anybody else through their political connections. The only help they may receive is that which comes from people who don't know who they are. And even then, they aren't allowed to receive any help whatsoever inside of the dungeon.
Normally, I'd be with you in criticizing the plot of an H game, but this is probably the best written one ever made.

Best written one ever made is a hell of an exaggeration as long as stuff like The Last Sovereign exists but it is pretty solid as far as things go. She's not FORCED to do this. She wouldn't be doing it at all but she has an extreme sense of duty that doesn't falter the entire game regardless of the ending you get, that says she can't let her shitass of a brother ruin the lives of everyone in the kingdom. She feels a duty to her country and the town once she becomes the sole person capable of guarding it. Same reason she won't just kill the assholes here. She probably could just kill half the people in town who get in her way and the rest wouldn't fuck with her anymore, but her sense of duty prevents her from doing that because of the repercussions for the kingdom if this town were to be lost.

1. which is why i explicitly said she can receive support outside the dungeon. not inside. most of the fuckery is happening outside the dungeon, like how her stuff was stolen.
2. then everyone there should know that her entering that city would be the worst. she doesn't need 5m. she needs people guarding her. it's almost as if her entire family don't care that she'll lose virginity if she went there.
3. doesn't matter. it would be one thing if its a prince, but if its a princess...
the trial is only applied INSIDE the dungeon. it was never outside of it.

They are the royal family, and have plenty of money. Leticia pays the exhorbitant prices at first because its the first time she has been out of the castle, she's spent her life training so knows little about the outside world and what things really cost. Then it's a matter of giving up little by little to pay for things and be corrupted. Also they need to do this alone, regardless of prince or princess.
This is one of the best, most well written and reasoned games, in this genre.

the problem is way more basic actually. they KNOW the city is as lawless as it gets, so why would you send a beauty princess ALONE in such a city? it's almost like the king is asking for the princess to be raped.

the trial is NOT in the lawless city. its in a dungeon. big difference. again, they could have given her a maid and some guards for the princess so that her stuff won't be stolen for example.

The art isn't for everyone and it has graphic childbirth which could be a drawback for some. That said, its a stand out in the surprisingly robust genre of: Serious and talented young woman succumbs to corruption and finds a heartwarming sense of community by becoming the town's breeding mare.

The problem is you are looking for some sort of logic that suits you in a corruption/porn game.
All this has been answered, you just don't like the answer. The princes went alone, and they expect she can do the same, rightly or wrongly.

still executed very badly. and I see clearly where their priorities lie.
the recent reviews are giving it a low score anyway so whatever good the writing is here, its not enough to give it a higher score.

The font is too small for me to actually read the file names as well which adds to my disinterest in trying to hunt them all down, especially since I am very unfamiliar with the file layout for this version of RPGmaker.
