It's not just about having to accept or respect. Because the MC currently has no alliances, they all see him as a potential pawn to further their own political agendas. At the current moment, it's a potential benefit to all of them, to get him a seat on the council. Once they learn what kind of guy he is, and realize that offering their daughters to him end up backfiring when they inevitably choose him over their families, things will probably change.

That's what I was implying, I had doubts about why a nobody is allowed to vote on important matters but fear of an all out war is enough to explain it, other issues should be solved in the future since we lack info. As implied by the dev some families might want the war others might move to take in his vote through hot daughters and there even might be a friendly family out there.

As a Brit myself I won't say calling me a Brit is offensive since we do refer to ourselves as Brits or British (Or at least English since I live in England)Well - I have a few Brits (no offense, that's what they call themselves) on my team - and they all celibate Thanksgiving, and having family feasts next Thursday. Maybe because its an American company and they get next Thursday and Friday off (plus several other bank holidays - you guys have so many holidays). I am just glad DST if over, as now I have to wake up at just 6am, instead of 5am to talk to my teammates

Given the history and nature of the region, I can imagine a Thanksgiving-like celebration commemorating the Founders/founding of the city.

Dev Log 22
Hey guys, a super short dev log this time.
I'm neck deep in the rendering phase of the update right now, with roughly 200 complete, and I'm estimating that the total will come to around 1100 - though long-time supporters will know that I have a habit of underestimating. All being well, I'm still aiming for a release date some time around Christmas.
Honestly there isn't much more to say, but I did promise a dev log every other Sunday and I like checking in with you all!
As always, I want to thank you all for supporting the game, particularly all of the new guys that have joined since the public release of 0.6, and I'll speak to you all again in a couple of weeks!

Cosy Creator Loving the story thus far! cant wait till the next update
Wholesome h-games like this underrated, especially if you like some of the more "harsh" stuff, this one is a good game to kinda give back a little soul. Said before in the thread for a prior version when I tried the game, it really does have "cozy"/good vibes. FeelsGoodMan def going to check out the new version. Deserves a sub if you have a few bucks to spare.

weird how the purge removed a bunch of on topic stuff like my posts and some from the dev, I will restate my thoughts.
The VN is really really good, Sarah's characterization is amazing especially during the scenes during the party.
Lucy is great too. The scene fairly early in the story where the mc convinces her to move in is really touching and well done.
I don't mind Rachel as a character I think she is used well and would be a lot more annoying if she was taken seriously by the other characters.
I change my criticism though. Before I said that I think the game should have more non sexual intimacy, which is a small thing and more of a suggestion. I stand by that opinion in regards to Sarah, Lucy, and maybe Hannah when she eventually falls victim to the MCs charms. But I don't think it makes much sense for Akatsuki or Victoria. Victoria because the relationship dynamic she has with the mc right now doesn't have very much room for non sexual intimacy unless its with another character (like when the three of them watched a movie together and all snuggled up to each other), and Akatsuki because she doesn't seem like the kind of character to want for that kind of affection.
