Just a heads up for all the artists here, an exciting new product is coming to Daz hopefully by the end of the year. Genesis 9 to Genesis 8 Clothing Converter by RiverSoftArt. I have been lucky enough to test it & it works beautifully.

Just be aware that this is a very temporary solution, and so often not a great choice. Geometry visibility like you are doing there is considered session dependent by Daz. What I mean is, it is not saved.

1. Set up your scene
2. Hide the unwanted polygons
3. Save your file
4. Return later and open your file to continue working/render/fix something.
5. Be shocked that the "neck ring" is back, visible, and showing up in your render.

Yes, deleting the unwanted vertices is certainly one way to make them disappear permanently. That technique can run into problems/errors when opening a save though if those vertices are part of any of the product's morphs. Given that these specific vertices seem to be an accidental anomaly in the product deleting them has a good chance of working without causing future problems.

Other options would be making a morph to hide those vertices or create an opacity/transparency map to make them invisible. They could also be hidden by making a semi-fake geo-graft.

A long time ago I had talked about Genesis 9 and that I had experienced and I had said it was incredible but I chose not to go ahead due to lack of resources. In fact, I was satisfied with the G3 and after a long time I went to the G8. A few weeks ago I was thinking about the G9 and the results...

the arm is crooked the hand looks like modeling clay and the breasts look more natural. I can't say but the G9 doesn't have gender models (male and female) I had done tests in the past with Victoria 9.



I'm using a very old version (BB) of my Ann, how can I say about the G9, it looks like it turned out good.

I didn't know exactly, I just looked at the Alexis picture and did it. I thought they were blue.

I'm still not sure about her face. Looks like in Glamour she got some tweaks, especially around her nose. Since I'm using a converted model to G8F, this is the closest I can get to her. Oh, for the hair I'm using
