so i get to the point in chapter 2 where i need to speak to mira after getting close to varsha, but nothing but random chats are happening. after reading the walkthrough, that can't be all thats left.... am i doing something wrong?

If you're still getting hints in-game for the character, there should still be something to unlock. The difficult thing is that so many character/story moments have prerequisites that aren't very clear. That difficulty is compounded by most events/conversations being location or time dependent or both. As much as I enjoy this story and these characters, the gameplay kinda puts what critics of sandboxes hate most about them at the core of the gameplay loop. Probably at least half the conversations or events I found in the game I tried to get to based on the hint system's clues, but ended up just stumbling across them trying to do something else later.

People have mentioned this issue to the dev a bunch. It seems like they've responded to that criticism and are considering how to improve that aspect of the game, so it could get better eventually. But until the dev figures out what they want to do about it, we're kinda at the mercy of the gameplay. Given how on rails the story is despite being a sandbox, its playability would probably improve from either pulling back on some of the sandbox elements or eliminating them altogether for a VN format

The Nobody in a Hero's World is looking pretty good. There's also Dungeon Days. They're both fairly new and promising. They've both got a decent balance of content and the writing is pretty solid. It's nice to see KK assets outside school settings.

Have to disagree about Dungeon Days but Nobody in a Hero's World has great potential.

Expansive setting, intriguing mystery and great characterization. Despite having a huge casting and a lot of actors who affect the story, it's quite easy to follow although I have to admit that I had some trouble remembering all the names.

The characters have distinct personalities and goals and I'm quite impressed that the dev manages to write all these different characters with so much depth. While the tropes are fairly easy to see, they aren't caricatures.

The only thing I didn't like was the trust grinding. Normally I'd praise the fact that there exists unique dialogue each time you grind trust by choosing the "Chat" option, but I found myself skipping through the text a bit too much because I wanted to unlock the next event.

Hopefully the dev is alright (he talked about some kind of injury back in october) and we hear something from him quickly.

BarkBarkBandicoot Correction on what I meant. You'll still get a repeatable blowjob scene as long as you pay attention to your roommate and I do mean roommate and not the slang. I probably got it messed up with the context scene of it first happening and forgot the latter.
So to correct the record every scene can be seen again whether its from a repeatable or gallery. So there you go anyone else wondering.

Hey everyone, I hope your new year has been off to a good start! I'm still alive and kicking, however feeble it might look. The holidays have been busy on my part and I've struggled a lot to heal both physically and mentally, but I hope they've given everyone else an opportunity to get a proper reset.

As for the Hearth, things still haven't been working out the way I hoped and I've definitely been getting worn down by the circumstances, but I'm not ready to pull the plug yet.

While preparing the renders for the past couple of months, I became unsatisfied with the script and began to update it once more. Although I'm happier with the final result, the process has left me with a lot more work at the end of the marathon.

Compiling everything into code usually takes me a week with the typical size of my updates, but this one has ended up being well over twice the usual length. Right now, I've still got around 50k words to parse through so I'm estimating that I can finish everything up within two weeks. It's been too long, but I'm ready to move on from this particular fight.

For anyone curious, it's a mirror/Atbash cipher. Each letter is replaced with the one from the opposite end of the alphabet: A with Z, B with Y, etc. At least, I think so. Not sure what that word after the number is supposed to be, if it's meant to be anything. Maybe that one word has a different key?
