I feel bad for him to be honest, to go from being one of the highest paid smut devs on patreon to making just under 100 dollars is.. yikes. I don't think he can recover from that, even if he does make a full comeback.

Don't feel bad at all, He could have called it quits , And none could blame him for that. Instead he made promises for a few months to keep money flowing. I doubt he don't have access to let's say a fucking phone to drop a comment for his patreons in 9 months. Not the first, and not the last one i'm afraid.

I don't think that a 64bit version has ever been released.
I've Windows 7 64bit and the 32bit version posted in OP works fine for me.

He went for a too ambitious update that he couldn't pull off. He got progressively frustrated, less motivated I can guess, more guilty for not releasing in time, and lastly too ashamed to even show up again. I believe thats all that happened and that the guy is alive and well. At least that feels plausible (and painfully relatable). Sometimes this one man self scheduled projects get snowballed to hell as easy as that.
By the way, that never released update was holiday themed (If I recall correctly, he had a lot of trouble with some dress change mechanics, including Santa costumes). Maybe... I mean, of course not, but... maybe... MAYBE he could make a surprise release this holiday???

I'm about to start playing this, and after having read the most recent comments, I'm just curious as to what other games have had developers just mysteriously stop production altogether without explanation? I know Irredeemable with Teacher's Pet was one of them, but I had previously thought he was the only one. Thanks in advance.

there are dozens of abandoned projects, just use the tag . Probably not as popular as this one . Some of them made a come back like Lily of the valley that if i remember well dissapeared for over a year.
