I don't count the US at all it's all over the place.
But then you got countries like North Korea and South Korea where you can literally fuck your own mother, father, brother, sister etc... while socially taboo but not illegal at least back in 2004 when I was stationed there with the military, not sure if it changed since then but I doubt it.

In some cultures it is other close or extended family, rather than parents, where older members teach the adolescents about sex and even give them feedback to help them improve for their future partner(s).

So how about this - If you personally have a problem with incest, or any other aspect of a particular game, novel, or other form of media, then make a conscious choice not to partake of those. If you have no problem with it, and believe that what two consenting adults do in their private lives, as long as it doesn't harm anyone else, is entirely their business, then enjoy the story and carry on.

Either way, don't presume that your opinion or point of view is the only one, or worse the "right" one.
Simply let others enjoy what they enjoy.

I guess the rest of the denizen of this thread understand that a "mere patch" would be a tad more complex than a simple dialogue change landlady -> mom / roommate -> sister and thus a bigger download than 70kB.
Bit still relatively easy and fast.

I guess you are picturing a big change that requires a big number in new renders.
That's not the case.

Going to interrupt this discussion of comparative morality and/or legality across cultures to bring this back and say that it won't completely surprise me if there's some crazy time paradox shit going on and MC is his own father.

Also I'm sure this has been covered already but I'm not reading 370 pages of this thread to find out. So: what's the likelihood that the mysterious dude in the past is a future version of MC?

Well if you go by the theories a paradox like would rupture the space-time continuum causing it to collapse in on itself destroying everything, as a contradiction that severe can't exist. Just like going back and killing your grandfather would make it to where one of your parents would never exist as well as yourself and your siblings.

We are probably the father to not only are selfs (Heh, we are our own daddy) but also probably some of the girls as well (twins, Kystal, etc). Who gives an honest fuck about parentage in a game such as this? If Pateron wants to take it down because of the whole time travel potental incest theory then so be it. There are other means to support the game else where.


All I'm really see and hearing is just complaining about one little issue whether or not we go Step or not.

We know the MC has flashbacks of time with his Dad.

I'd say that the MC was somewhere between 5-8 years old - but this is just a guess on my part.

If we go with the SciFi trope that bad things happen if you meet yourself on another timeline - and if these are true memories, he cannot be with an older version of himself when these memories were made.

Is the MC tied to the person in the mask - I think so.

I just don't know Who this masked person is.

This is one of the good mysteries that keeps the conversation going - part of what I enjoy about Ripples.

So how would that work exactly? The MC would just hear, that he fucked his own sister raw and he would just be "Okay then" and move on? And what would he hear in the same renders in the unpatched version?

Rather casual discussion with for example the mother of Darci.

Unpatched:
"I don't really know at what point in my abduction I got pregnant with Darci but apparently I did."

Patched:
"I still remember how you fucked me after the rescue. You gave me the creampie of my life. And my lovely daughter ..."

That AFTER THAT there might be an additional render required showing MC either happy or distressed (developers choice) is another issue.

That render may be shipped with the download and only UNLOCKED with the patch. Since the dialogue would be missing it is no point of concern that patreon might take action.

It doesn't matter if MC is the father of himself and all the girls he is fucking, the Dev will find or create a way to let that happen if that is the way.

No, that is not how you can do a scene like that. You also completely miss the point that there also needs to be a scene between the MC and Skylar in which they discussing that.

Never mind the fact that such a revelation should pretty much shatter any normal person in multiple ways.

#1 Not really. "Nice to have" Yes, required No.
#2 A normal person would be shattered with the time traveling alone.
Plus dare I remind you we are talking about an incest porn game i.e. hardly anyone is "normal" in this game to begin with.
Not the various girls and women who jump MC's bones, not his sister or his mom that are very close to that point, ...
