If I'm not wrong, here you are still legally family, even if the widow marries you are still family. It would be another thing if it had been a divorce.

So why the hell did you even add that element to the game in the first place. Everything it brings is negative. Just reading the tag takes away a large number of players. If that element is only in the intro, then I recommend removing it completely. This is the same thing as NTR if it has even one image, then the game will not be played by any harem player. That element is not suitable for a harem game. Double edged sword: If the tag is in the list it will drive away players. If you don't mention it and it is in the game it will drive away players. You can't get out of that hole except by permanently removing the whole element from the game.

I'm not personally bothered by it, but I've been around a while, so I can help with understanding the mindset of people who are bothered by it. There are also a lot of people who claim harem fans want all virgins, which is also a massive exaggeration (it just makes things noticeably easier for the dev to do it that way, and basically zero harem fans care about the unrealistic nature of an "all-virgins" group of LI girls).

Harem fans, almost universally, don't want to hear anything about their LIs' previous partners, if there are any. Even harem fans like me, who are open to more variety in the harem, still don't want to hear about the LIs' previous partners. Having an LI be an escort or porn star is an inherent mention of the LI's previous partners. Thus, the people who are most bothered by it want to be able to exclude that girl from the harem. It's happened in a ton of games, and the prostitute characters, even if they quit prostitution immediately upon joining the harem and never even see another dick, are invariably the least popular characters, and forced relationships with them turn people away from the game.

Interestingly enough, a lot of people don't mind the inclusion of prostitution in a harem game. A quick search on F95 shows
there are over a hundred so far. Some of those games bring in good money for the Developers. I know of at least a couple that are bringing in well over $100,000 per year. I also noticed, so far, that the Dev of this game hasn't demanded tons of money or that everyone on F95 to wholeheartedly love and agree with everything in This game.

I'd imagine that Heart Games, the developer of Harem Isekai, added the element because they wanted to. There seems to be
a huge misconception that the Developer is here to serve the demands of the other members on F95 and should cow-down to other people's commands.

Some of us like this story and how it's going so far. Some folks love the idea of prostitution/harem combo games. In that case who are we to tell them they shouldn't be allowed to play them?

Next we'll be told we don't have Any choice which games to play here and we are required to play them all and that we will love them equally. Possibly we will be told we have to financially support all games equally so we don't let on that there might be a favorite or some we don't like/agree with.

(I mean....I'm on a pretty good pace to have played all of them....lol)

Anyway....I just hope they keep this site set up like it is so I have a choice which ones to play and which ones I don't like. As it is they are very easily skippable and there's a nice Ignore button that helps as well if folks want.....

While it would be nice to make some money from this, I know a 0.1 isn't really worth much. As someone who frequents this site (I also have a personal account) I knew my game would be here one way or another. I value the internet being free, and actively avoid content that forces me to pay.

And yes, I'm making the game I want to make. If it doesn't suit you, make your own game, with blackjack and hookers. (or not because they seem to trigger people.)

i dunno which game you meant specifically because you mentioned non, but most of the 110 games there are that have prostitution have them as throwaway characters that get pumped and dumped and never seen again, not as Main LIs. (And some of those games have far worse problems than prostitution kink wise)

Yes Harem Hotel has Maria, but she is a camgirl not a whore some equate that tho. And Harem Hotel is fucking old it did get his Fanbase when the market was far less saturated and People got only more rigid in what they tolerate, some wouldnt even touch Harem Hotel if it would came out today.

I don't think it's necessary to make them all virgins. Simply avoiding telling us about their past sexual lives is enough. Actually the best thing is to allow the player to choose which LIs he wants in the harem and which he doesn't.

Personally, I don't like ntr and I avoid these games, but the fact that there is a comment in the introduction from a possible li about her being a prostitute doesn't seem like a reason for me to abandon the game. As I said, I am anti ntr but we are reaching limits that seem absurd to me. I will play your game as it is now
