There were instances where the stepmom suddenly lost access to the kids such as
medical records and other 'privacy' related things such as things at the schools since
she wasn't their legal guardian anymore. There was one case, sort of still looking where
I found it, where the kids were temporarily put in foster care until the stepmom legally adopted
the kids. I didn't notice cases where the kids didn't want to be w the stepmom.
Mainly it's was a pain to find some info because most searches ended up w results about the wills and
inheritances....and whether or not the stepmom should get everything when there wasn't a will. People tend
to get all wanky when it comes to inheritances....

I had looked harems up a tiny bit on Wiki which as we all know is Always correct....lol
It's interesting how the women of the harem have been looked at in history. Some eras had them as being lower 'status/intellect' and in other times the women held a Lot of social and political power.
Concubines were brought in to harems sometimes to bear children when the wife couldn't/wouldn't? have children. At some point the concubines even were given much of the same rights as the wives.
The thing I don't like so much in the harem games is that they seem to have too many wives/mates. It would be nice to be able to have less...like 3-5ish.... I mean, seriously....do I really want to be on the shit list of 10 wives at the same time? Especially when they all get their cycles in synch.... whew!!!!
Of course there's much more to look into w the harem stuff but I got bored and moved on......lol

I have the broad outline of where I want the game to go, and how I want it to end. I'm currently working on what characters to add when MC reaches his new home (Haven). Exactly. Whores or the like have no value in a harem game and if they are forced to be the MC's women, the game is on the ignore list pretty quickly.
