Oh damn, I thought there were 2 more? o_O
From what other people have mentioned here, there will be 12 parts, 2 more.
In which, the MC will finally remember that he is a Vampire who has accumulated skills and even eaten a powerful one, gaining his strength and use it all to summon Doctor Strange. Strange will use the Time stone to change time into the Babylonian Era where the MC will kill the feral.
Ending the story with Strange leaving the MC in the past to live for thousands of years and watch the growth of Vampires and Humans and their Civilizations, making MC be looked upon as a God amongst Vampire Civilization. MC then waits thousands of years to turn Calisto into one of them, Vengeance, a dish best served cold.

I just hope the thing mc saw down there are illusions otherwise it's doesn't even make any sense..
Even 2 human hunter felt the being down there even cindy and mc felt it but super strong and ancient vamp Callisto doesn't even able to feel anything and taken down without even give a stracth to enemy ??? just L.O.L

Hope everything we saw down there is a illusion to break our will to fight or escape otherwise i am sooo curious who able to take down something

Callisto is way too self absorbed to notice stuff like that

And Calisto has spent so long at the top of the food chain that she lost her fear. Calisto did in fact sense the being but her thinking was that nothing could touch her, thinking that whatever waas down there couldn't touch her.
Also devs warned way earlier that vision girl was at least as much stronger as Calisto as Calisto was to current generation of vampires. So her being taken apart in seconds unfortunately does make sense, if she is foolish or unlucky enough to directly confront either of them. However powerful Calisto might have been, in her own right and time, she is just a tasty morsel at best to those two in the end.

What would not make sense is that MC will be able to beat either of them himself on his own, survival of himself and ones he wants to protect and the world surviving when those two duke it out may be the best to hope for. Agreed that might have been set up better in game possibly or was intended as a shock moment at end by devs where you suddenly are told in game the stakes are way higher as expected (it was hinted at of course by those skalds for example) and you are not just in over your head, but a few thousand league behind and in deep shit as MC. Does not mean I would have loved a little bit more lore and setup of those two in game as trips in cars shown either. :)

A good update, wish it had been delayed to included the entire cave segment. Always thought this game would have benefitted from a two month cycle.

This was indeed quite short. Should have at least ended after exiting the cave instead of ending on a cliffhanger. Also, lol at those hunters. They couldn't hunt a bloody rabbit with those "talents". Literally letting their gun get drenched in the lake XD.

so mommy vamp, is she ...

He stated that she was "Turning into a husk before his very eyes", so unfortunately it seems like that is the case. It was foreshadowed by her arrogance, so one did expect that she would die, but dying like that was still really underwhelming. Could have at least died while fighting after taking out a couple goons and injuring the creature. Dying like a chump felt really lame.

Actually Calisto sensing it last does make sense. If we imagine that it radiates an aura, with that aura getting stronger the closer you are, then the aura would affect a low level person much further than it would affect a high level one. Calisto felt it last because she was by far the highest level in the group.

But yeah, short of tons of dynamite that collapse the whole place like MC suggested or the two cave women killing each other, I really don't see how it would make any sense for anyone to defeat someone that one shot Calisto.

Yeah, we already knew that the 2 sisters are in essence vamp gods and far beyond everyone else. Even if they fought together they would have needed a miracle to survive, even against one of the sisters.
Yet, what was supposed to be a high point of the story felt utterly rushed, barley any time spend on it and just underwhelming...that vision of the nos life bevore he turned (for whatever we needed to see that) was longer than the whole fight...
And yes it was clear Callisto wouldn't win that fight, but first she didn't even sense anything than she got jumped by the lake and after running away she got jumped a second time...at least i wanted to see a desperate fight.
As for the MC...well he is present, that's the best i can say, as he does pretty much nothing.

Seeing how much time and renders were used on filler and useless banter, this just feels like a bad joke imo.

Normally it should be that her senses are also the strongest do to age and powers, way better than the MC's one in fact and for some reason even Cindy which isn't even a vamp could feel it...doesn't make much sense to me.

The only chance i see is, one sister kills the other and is servely weakened, than maybe the fatty with his goons and the shield shows up...but even then they shouldn't stand much of a chance, but at least they could buy enough time for the MC to run.
Or our dream girl is for whatever reason not hostile to the MC and has other plans for him.

I think the reason the quality falls off so sharply is because the author either ran out of source material to adapt or the source material diverged too far to be useful anymore. I played through from the beginning over the last few days and there is such a strong sense of familiarity to the story that I'm pretty well convinced that this isn't just heavily influenced by V:TM. If someone with more patience and access than me went digging, you would probably find something remarkably similar to this story in an old White Wolf book from the 91-98 pre-Revised era.

As for why Calisto got chumped so easily, in World of Darkness terms I'd guess she's probably a 6th generation (maaaybe 7th) of some extremely exotic lineage. Like a surviving Salubri or Cappadocian in the modern era, not literally one of those bloodlines since this isn't actually WoD but that level of rarity. Her low generation accounts for her basically being queen shit relative to all the plebes jockeying for power under the prince, and her low generation + exotic bloodline explains why the MC develops so fast and with such a strangely wide range of powers. But even a freshly woken methuselah would be far beyond her in power.

That being said, I do recall a couple mentions of Inanna earlier in the story. Inanna was her name in Mesopotamian culture but the Akkadians and Babylonians called her Ishtar and in WoD the Toreador antediluvian Arikel was also known as Ishtar and was the twin sibling of Malkav. Now normally the awakening of an antediluvian is a world altering event let alone two at once but my guess is that's what the two female vampires are based on, Arikel and a gender-bent Malkav.

Looks like I am missing Episode 4 - ver3 imzahai
you dont need the full episode?
if you can't find a link to it via search [i didn't find one]
i suggest going to GAME requests thread, game compression request and create post with a link the the version you want and ask if they have it or can do it, one of them may just happen to have it.
or you could just download the whole thing i think its 4 gig?

Earlier in the thread it was strongly speculated and somewhat confirmed that Calisto is 4th gen from ancient Greece. The two sisters are 1st (maaaybe 2nd) gen (no Cain in this verse). For comparison Sharon is like 11th and most of the elders in the city are 8th-10th depending on their age.

True about that world altering event, it should be like Jesus suddenly returning. I just don't know how they're going to pay enough respect to it at this rate.

It will be very hard to get a satisfactory ending in just the few updates that remain. Already the MC forgets that he had invisibility and or whispers power in the scene where he and Sharon sneak around the guards in the cave. It would have made sense if the scenes we saw with Sharon providing the distraction, were for players that didn't get these abilities, for those that did, it just made no sense.

I cannot imagine Calisto being 4th generation, she doesn't seem anywhere close to powerful enough and has way too much humanity. Also I can't imagine a 4th gen being chumped so easily by anything short of the progenitor itself. Three bodhisattvas (Kuei-Jin considered to be the rough equivalent of 4th generation) were not only able to fight the Ravnos Antediluvian, they covered a large swath of India in a magical typhoon to protect themselves from the sun while they fought. They weren't killed by Zapathasura either but by what were essentially magically augmented nuclear bombs, which Zapathasura survived.

And for some scale on just how world altering the awakening of an Antediluvian would be in the modern era, the Week of Nightmares (what the awakening and death of Zapathasura was known as) resulted in the deaths of at least a few hundred million people, the almost total destruction of a major vampire clan, and even reverberated into every other supernatural genre when they normally don't mix too much.

Obviously in the author's 'not quite World of Darkness' continuity any changes he want are possible but it would be pretty damn weird if something(s) even more powerful than an Antediluvian had awoken but the weirdness didn't stray farther than the cave (aside from the MC's visions)

Exactly this. If you you want to read previous discussion about this and that, that happen in between the 13 419 and 1 message, I suggset to search for post made by Arigon. At a time he was very close to the devs themself. Sadly we don't know what happens to him.

Seen his active again, so Arigon: How are you doing?

It's been a while, but i think the most likely assumption was, Callisto from ancient greek or rome, being a several thousand year old methuselah or their equivalent. The sisters...was it mesopotamian gods, Inanna and Ereshkigal ? Some, if not among the most powerfull vamps ever lived, maybe even the first ones...

And the dev comment was iirc, Callisto being as much as myth to vamps from the present as the sisters are a myth for Callisto...
