Nah, I'm with nyuyu on this one. Some things you just don't want to dick down*, no shame in having differing taste†. Personally I'm not into threesomes of either flavor, nor am into most of what this site seems to consider "hot" (those massive lunar orbit altering torpedo tits), or whatever it thinks "MILF" means (I see that plastered everywhere many times without an actual Mother in the game).

I'll endure a few scenes of 'personally less than ideal' content (I know this game is aiming for/has already had threesome action), if the story or gameplay is good enough.

It was more about how some people go about their interests. If you have only a superficial grasp of and care for the story of LoML, you would know it's not in any way shape or form a story you could shoehorn NTR into without breaking it.
Yet, my little quote there is pretty close to what I have read in this thread, and many others. Hence, paratrooper, you just jump blind into every thread and make a plea for your interest without any knowledge of the piece of territory you landed on. It just gets tedious after a while.

thats the thing about NTR, its THE most polarizing subject when it comes to visual novels. wich is why devs NEED to be clear to everyone including themselves wether a game will have NTR in it. for alot of people (myself included) NTR isnt just "i dont like that" its genuinly anxiety inducing. so suddenly adding it into a story i am invested in will ruin the whole game for me. in the game "a town uncovered" when the mother suddenly sleeps with the dad and brutally verbally assaults the MC i just had to shut the game off and i didnt touch it for a year.

NTR is also a much broader subject for those that dont like it than for those that do. for me, if a love interest sleeps with someone else before they get together with the MC its only NTR if we see it. if it happens after they get together with the MC its NTR regardless if we see it or not. and by together i mean when feelings starts to emerge on both sides, not necessarily after they agree to start dating or having sex for the first time.

i mean look at this way. you are good friends with this girl, you both start feeling more than friendship but neither of you have confessed but both know there is something there. and she then goes and sleeps with some other dude. would you not feel hurt and betrayed?

It's probably just as broad for those that do, unless you're insinuating that the "enjoyers" only enjoy the cuckoldery aspect and not the uselessly broader aspects of the category.

To me NTR is as useless a category as isekai, I mean when I can fit Star Trek S01E18 Arena† into isekai, it's a useless category. Likewise if "other person MC has feelings for continues to be in relationship with another person" is described as NTR it's a uselessly broad category.

No, because I'm an adult*. I understand that projecting my feelings onto others without discussing those feelings and having them reciprocated, doesn't mean they have the same feelings no matter how I misleadingly read the situation.

Real life isn't an AVN, you do not know what someone else is thinking or feeling unless they tell you, and even then, don't be surprised if they do things you think are in contradiction with their expressed feelings or thoughts. Because like, people change their minds or are sometimes just inaccurate and inept about the very messy subject of feelings. You aren't the arbiter on what is "the right way to do things", everyone stumbles through life "doing it their own way". Learn this as fast as you can, embrace it, embody it, and it will save you pain in the long run.

I hear You and respect You, but honestly this makes it like walking on a minefield for the Devs. Since we do not have a sophisticated system to explain all contents includign dreams thoughts and even suspicion, I have to say stay away from most games that does not clarily say NO NTR (and everything that can be percieved as it)

For my personal definition, I tend to define is as two cocks jousting over the same love object. Note it doesn't say love interest, as the girl becomes a contested object IMHO, and the whole thing becomes a guy-guy situation. Since I don't have a particular interest in two guys touching dicks, even metaphorically, I won't include any situation like that in Light of my Life.

It'd personally classify a sexual relationship between a male MC and a female love interest who's already in a relationship with a man as Cheating and not NTR, if it's clear up front she is, and competing with that man is not the focus of that storyline.

To bring it back to Light of my Life a bit more:

In the game, there is a side character who can be intimate with the MC and who's in a formal relationship with a man, but one that's no longer a sexual relationship (all of which is made clear up front, as well as the notion that it's just a fling and not a serious romantic storyline). I don't have a interest to explore that particular subject further other that the one or two lines of dialog that acknowledge the existence of this forever unseen now-platonic partner in a rocky relationship that's already in the game.

I don't consider any of the relationships between the love interests themselves in LomL as NTR in any sense of the word, as it's all "in harem".
