First verify which version you are using, there are 2 different versions.

Second names won't change to mom or sister or whatever...

If you using the Steam version and one linked in the OP, it's not the updated patch for v1.1, you can get it here:

Plantinum = Patreon edition.

Special = STEAM, so bugfixes, some things removed (eg background images I think on the TV, or posters can't remember), enhancements, and is being updated still.

Both use their own patches.

Steam versions has been updated more to..

Steam has TV/Movie posters censored as they are copyrighted. Steam is updated, has better dialogue, and more fixes.

Patreon doesn't have posters censored, and is no longer being updated.

There were some issues reported for some mac's not beeing able to run the game at all, and we may finally say we have a fix, the steam library had some issues specifically on some processor architectures.

Thanks for your patience. We wouldn't have been able to solve this without your help in sending the log files to us.

Do these posters have any significance for the game, e.g. knowing in which "time" one is (if one even would forget)?
Would be nice to know, because I don't remember anymore and want to replay this, after Lost Love is finished.
