Nope, I am talking 0.10 to 0.50 fps. I am mostly running on high which only gives me 15 or 30fps, usually on the lower end. But some creators are really shitty in their produce and as you say add 2 pages of different hair with physics which makes everything stall to a halt, even on ultra low (I'm looking at you Riccio, and others). While others work fine on ultra.
i dunno, if you get 1 frame every 2-10 seconds then it sounds more like something wrong with your pc, not the game I think..

laptop? maybe you're running it on integrated GPU not the dedicated card... i would check in task manager what is running at 100%

This truly sounds like trying to run it on a 20 year old rig.
Without soft body physics you can achieve decent fps even on old midrange pc's like a Ryzen 3600 and a gtx1070

Like I said in my previous post, Ryzen 5900X, GT1660Ti, 64Gb RAM, Windows running on top end M2 SSD, while VAM runs on a few years old M2 SSD beside it. Using Vive Pro 2. AMD CPU's doesn't have onboard graphics. The CPU is at no load at all, 10 to 20%, while RAM at 10-15, or 20Gb depending on how many scenes/clothing I've been playing with. I regularly clean the addon packages so I don't use many of those. So there's nothing here that can explain why it will completely freeze everything. I just have to drop the headset and wait a minute for VAM to stop fucking up and then continue.

Same, currently sitting also on a ryzen 5900x, 32gb Ram + 1080ti.
With Steam VR set to the excact output res the VR googles supports
(steamVR used a way higher res by default with 2 different headsets),
the FSR2 mod and the cpu fix VaM runs above 35-40fps in heavier scenes.
Perfectly fine if you ask me.
I don't want to think about the heat in the room with a gpu where you can play with max fps at 90/120hz.
Higher framerates aren't ideal if you mainly use VR.
I noticed it after the cpu fix, alot of the bottleneck was gone and the gpu went kinda crazy without locked fps on simple scenes.

I found a solution to the problem with frequent crashes of the VAM. It was necessary to update the bios. Now everything is working properly. No one knows why almost every time if I log into the game - new scenes, demo, clothes are loaded automatically without my knowledge? how to disable it?

Delete them from your addonpackages or disable them ingame.

Even if I delete it, new garbage is still downloaded automatically. Why is there simply no disabling function
Automatically? Lol thats weird. I deleted alot of clothing and stuff I dont need like animated people (I bet 10GB if not more if you download all of those packs) and it does not auto download new shit.

i can not recall, but is there an auto download option for downloads in this game? i haven't played the game in some time and can't remember if the game had such a feature

I never checked but it could be lol. I would go nuts if this was set to default

well honestly i have heard some people have thousands of downloaded addons for this game, i find that too much downloads only slows down the game even more depends how fast your computer is. having a considerable amount of addons around 100 or so sounds more reasonable and load times are much faster

I try to keep it clean and addonpackages is at 225GB.
VaM dependency check says Iam missing around 1000 addons but all scenes are fine.
Who needs hundreds of different shirts, pants and shoes anyways.

VaM itself has no "auto download" function, that's why there's nothing to disable. VaM does not automatically download anything. But there might be plugins that will provide something like you described, but then that's something you installed all by yourself, so go figure which plugin it is and disable/delete it.

Or -- just place the Vam_Updater.exe in a new, empty directory to create a fresh install, and then just "move" those packages you really want to keep from the "old" AddonPackages to the "new" one.

The problem is that you have other packages that have dependencies on other packages, and when you download missing packages from the hub, these will be downloaded again even if you've deleted them. Sadly a lot of packages have wholly retarded and disgustingly bad required packages, such as all the WeebU and Scamp stuff. Only way to get rid of them is to manually for each of the unwanted package go into the package manager and set them to disabled, this will create a .<packagename>.disabled file to not show them. Extremely tedious to do this on every single one you do not want though.
