Fam I said I agree with both sides. I said that understand the guy wishing we got something different from Acerola. In fact, I partially disagree with your statement. Tear and Phantom Thief sold very well. Also I don't really see the point of bringing up Sex Knight Cynthia's release date considering that Demon Queen Melissa came out half a year later and is still a top 3 best seller from them. But I do agree that without Cynthia, Treasure Hunter Claire and Alchemist Colette most likely don't come to be.
As for the rest of your comment, we're on the same team her pal. I think Monica is easily their best title to date. There's a reason that it's their only game to have DLC as well as animated extra content. It's why a lot of us are disappointed that the patch messed up the voices, especially as Kagura seems to operate on a schedule us mere mortals could never hope to comprehend.
Acerola is easily upper echelon for H games, no one is arguing that. We can also admit that things seem a bit repetitive.

You can skip everything. In fact, you probably won't see any of it by playing normally. It's fairy hard to get discovery meter to 100% on your first run with no money to buy consumables.
There's just more of it for people who want to see it.

Sorry, the second part of the comment was meant more in the general sense for the thread rather than a direct reply to you.
That said, the release dates of these games do matter... and the sales that matter the most are the ones on dlsite and Fanza (where applicable for the latter). This is because by the time any of these games are localized, the development of the next game(s) is already in the works if not already complete. I doubt that the Steam Sales have much of an impact on Acerola's design decisions beyond the fact that it encourages them to keep localizing games as a worthwhile investment... and that's assuming that the sales number are indeed good there between Steam, GoG and Kagura's site... I have no idea. Hard to check. I also don't know how much of a cut Kagura takes from the sales, and thus how profitable localization actually is for Acerola.
The fact that Kagura hasn't said anything about any of the other games that came after this one is... concerning... Though to be fair, I don't expect to ever see anything about the Vulvadia game because that was a complete clusterfuck...
Getting back to THIS game and the cluster-fuck that is the AI patch... I have a question.
Did anyone confirm if the patch is even MEANT to work with the Append? Did anyone try the patch on the base-game version that does NOT have the Append installed?
Because I'm starting to suspect that the AI patch is not meant to work with the Append, and that having the Append installed breaks shit in general. I'm obviously hoping that I'm wrong about this one... but if I'm right... Wooo boy that's even more concerning.

2-the dlc dont work with the english patch
3-the gallery dont save properly the scenes and you need to unlock all with the bear in your room after finish the game( the gallery dont have voice either)
4- the texts go off the screen sometimes
?- I have also read that the Chinese and Korean versions work well according to a user and there are no errors

I can't figure out how to enter the Hero's house or start his route. The house stays closed no matter what.
You also forgot a good chunk of scenes are not even translated, at least all MonicaxMilli and MonicaxSophie are in japanese.
And overall translation is googletranslate-tier, not even GPT3
Depends on what do you mean by combat sex. There is a normal RPG battle system, but enemies sometime grab you, and you have to do QTE to escape or they will rape you.
And yeah, I think you can get pregnant from it.

because the English patch breaks many things, it doesn't make the game unplayable but it is not a good experience as it is currently, so is a waste of time and I hope I am wrong but the chances of them fixing the game are very low.

Acerola confirmed on twitter that the current AI TL is not meant to work with the Append.

It is not known but it seems that it was not an error as I believed, it is that the patch is not made to work with the dlc that is why the dlc scenes in the gallery are not translated, now that does not take away the voice thing since for example the DLC scenes come without voices because they were added later, we had the base game with voice and the DLC only with moaning sounds until we can test the new patch we will not know what really is there
My doubt is why they release a game with the DLC and they offer you a patch only for the base game or the patch is not made to work with the dlc and since this version is with dlc there are incompatibilities. Has anyone tried simply the latest version of the base game without the DLC, maybe there won't be any problems there
