That's an old animation that *technically* belongs to Team Bieno, so it's something that we'll have to replace at some point, so it'll be bigger if we redo it with Sam. It's a little flatter than it would be in our actual new game!Given how Sam's shaking it on your subscribestar, I'd agree with that statement.

with the gzone led version of amity park in the air so to speak. will this new studio game version be updated here on this f95 thread or will it have a new one made for it?

Wasn't the original art from when this game first launched more like the "new" version? Maybe I'm misremembering but this is the third time there has been an art style change. That being said I like the new version better.
There was the OG GZone Art, then there was Psymind's changes/edits to GZone's work, which still primarily kept all faces, like Maddie and then there was Psymind's own art but under GZone's art direction. The new art is being done by Psymind but under my art direction, and it'll be consistent throughout from the beginning rather than the art inconsistencies we had before.
I wasn't ever a SUPER fan of GZone's original art, as I thought there was too much shading/detail/detriment focus on making them look like the characters, but not really? I think the new art style has a nice flatter color feel, makes them look like the TV show, but also experiments and does its own thing to make the designs unique.

Hm, yeah, I like the new art. Looking forward to seeing what comes of this and hope the project doesn't collapse like so many others. At the very least I like your take on Sam much, MUCH better than what I can remember from the last time I played this oh so long ago. I've never actually watched the show this is parodying so I have no specific attachment to the art or designs, but the aged up goth girl is very hot while the original one was kind of not.

Yeah, she is legitimately really high tier now, imo. The little bits of extra detail added to her hair making it less helmet like, the more 'realistic' shirt design (rather than the vacuum-sealed boobie shirt), and a couple of subtle shifts to her proportions and head shape have done wonders. I love her facial expression too. Originally I kind of found myself just wanting to skip most of her content but in this new game, when it eventually starts coming out, she might be a highlight.
Also the more pale skin tone, finer eyebrows rather than just rectangles... Well, all in all, massive improvement across the board. All for it.

Can't wait to see all of the new designs tbh.
A big design and writing goal for this new project thus far has been to make sure that the game & story is also appealing for those like yourself, who didn’t grow up watching the show, or have any particular vested interest in what came before. It should satisfy a fan like me, who does know the lore and the particular episodes we’re pulling stuff from, but also makes sense for you and players like yourself to want to play as its own thing.
And for those that want to learn more, we’ll have a character-pedia app that will unlock as you progress.

I also didn't prior to playing AP and the game stoke my interest enough to do it. It's worth watching it (although the ending was pretty lackluster)!
This is interesting to me, because I have seen more than one person say their biggest criticism of the show was the finale. I know what happens in it, but I never gotten through much a season three on my own accord.

That's because Nick canceled it when Butch Hartman, the creator, had more planned. He released more info about what happened after the finale. Danny went to college and had trouble balancing his life as a celebrity so he built his own lair in the Ghost Zone.

Hmm, yeah, the changes to how the hair is handled are great. The original designs (at least, the ones shown on the front page of this post) have a very 'helmet' quality to them on account of being essentially one solid block. It's not so bad for Jazz and Paulina who have long hair, and Maddie whose bob haircut is sort of meant to look that way in the first place, but for Sam it looks absolutely atrocious.
Her eyes also seem to have been made quite a bit larger as well, which has worked well I think, it looks really good.
The slightly bigger noses are good.
One large and good improvement that I'm only noticing with a direct comparison is the new one has a much more proportionate face, maybe this is a large part of why I found the old Sam a bit offputting. Her face is all squashed up and her chin is ENORMOUS, she's got a major case of Key Face going on which the other characters don't really have to quite the same extent. It's not as bad when her mouth is open, but still.
Well, anyway, Paulina is also better, though not quite to the same massive improvement as Sam.
Looking back at Jazz, I think that's the closest, but the new one still has better clothing design and proportions so still a win. The flatter shading also kind of looks nicer. I'm really not that big of a fan of overly complicated shading on simple character designs, it looks a bit odd.
Also come to think of it, that Sam seems to now have purple leggings instead of fishnets may open up some sexy scene options if people want that.

Just for you Peanut, to calm any potential worries or fears, *this* is the current Sam model's breast outline. See, not too bad, right? Barely even noticeable we just see more of her arm now, and more clearly outline the shaped of her bust.
