Would love for someone to release a patch to revert back to the old style of writing without the "I hereby consent to sexual relations" every ten seconds. I guess there'd be a lot of writing involved to fill out scenes that didn't have old dialogue, but it'd be a heroic thing for someone to do.

I find it funny that almost all the games where the developers had a "falling" out with each other at one point (either split and started their own games or had to hire someone new) are the same people who will arrogantly make huge sweeping statements about how they want to give a better product, or that the Patreon Team was cheating them out of money, etc.

Yet at the same time (if people stopped cooming for 3 seconds, and looked at games like these with a healthy amount of non-horny brain) these developers are doing the opposite of what they claimed to want to do, as early as their first demo, where either it's a standard Side-Scroller kit that anyone has access to, or worse, a game which exposes either the Unity/Unreal Editor as a "game" to the user, and the only work they had to do was "Pictures and Text" (as if Game Design even exists in these games), which apparently is too hard to do 12 years later.

All they had to do was release game as Part 1 with a nice clean wrap up, and then invest their resources into a Part 2 of the game with a proper ending/sequel when they didn't have time or the games internal organization got very messy, but clearly even that was too much effort, because I guess all their money is going to renting a 5 figure studio apartment in the middle of New York city.

You will have to play an old demo or wait for the editor to be released so a mapmaker can recreate it (if the editor ever does come out)

Managed to find it, it only works on Windows, it is a batch file, and it alters the ffdata_slot_1.sav (autosave slot), so read it or scan it if you're concerned.
Since it modifies the save slot itself, I would make a manual save to a different slot just so you don't lose anything.

To use it, just make sure you're not in game when you run it, either be out of the game or the main menu. After running it'll give you a prompt to walk you through the things it can do. Then just load the first slot.

Things it can do:
Change level
Unlock/Lock all powerups
Change ideals

Things it can't do:
It can't unlock achievements directly, therefore it can't unlock the gallery. Although it should make getting some achievements easier.
Give databanks (I could do this, it'd take awhile for me to get it figured out)
Give fragments (this one would be harder to do, but maybe it'd work, I really don't know)
Alter level progression (theoretically I could do this, but it'd take some time)
Alter Faye reputation (maybe I could do this, I'm really not sure due to how this value is saved)
Alter previous character choices (even if I knew how to do this, there are so many alterations and whatnot, I probably won't do it, although I could add a function to delete all choices pretty quick, I haven't seen any issues in progression doing this manually, but who knows)

Disclaimer: Since this thing doesn't change the flags and values associated with character choices, it might break some cutscenes. So maybe start a new game, save at the first pad, then use it just so if anything you'd have fewer checks in place than the game would expect.

You would need to know the exact variables for 2 different locations in the save file.
I was planning on doing this next but put a pause on it after spending several hours trying to make it do something I should've known wouldn't work.

Give me a day or two and I'll see if I can get the script updated. The next update I make will allow for skipping all forced dialogue and completing all paths in each level.
I've got the first level done already, and the others won't take too much time now that I know I can make the changes necessary, it's just a matter of getting around to it.

Hello there, game dev here. I have experience mostly with Unity but I know a little about other engines. I can explain to you on a conceptual level how a video game is developed in a way that is easy to understand.
Well, we hope you will try it and tell us what you think was going on with game development!

As much as we want to enjoy the game... right now it can only be partially enjoyed.

Are there any more games as good as this one, either by animation, gameplay or voice acting. i know that kincylab, paraside in city and Niplheim's Hunter are good ones but are there any more?

I liked the game that inspired it hxxps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NEnGR5Mh6Eo <-- not certain of link rules passing through so hxxp to http.
Kurovadis is simpler, but much cleaner gameplay. It is a game first and hentai second, and is stylistically closer to Metriod. and it certainly doesn't flood you with words like Future fragments does. If memory serves has simple animation pixel art for knock downs, and a cg scene for each boss loss.
