Almost done with my first vn/game. Here is a render of the mc's sisters who share a bed.

On a side note. Is there a place where I can figure out how to post a new game when the time comes.
For example, I was just playing around on the site, and when I try to post a thread under games, it says I have insufficient privileges.
She looks really sexy! I think you post your game here: and then they move it to the "Games" section. :coffee:

Thanks saffe for the info. When the time comes I'll try that. I guess I'm just a bit confused because the rules for requesting a game are different than for posting a game.

First real attempt at a muscle girl.
I tried to bring out the definition with a wet skin overlay but I'm not sure how I feel about that. Hair, face and boobs need some work but my main issue is that I can't really make her flex or pop out the veins.

Darker skin, or tanned, brings out the muscles better which is why they always oil up before shows. Lowering overall fat helps to make them look more muscular as well as there isn't anything extra on their bodies.

There are several products that help with veins/muscularity. Like Musculature, Muscularity, or Add some Veins.

I tried darker skin first, didn't look very good, and the tattoo was barely recognizable. That's probably due to me being a rookie though.

Add Some Veins looks promising, thanks for the tip.

You could always apply the same tattoo again to make it darker. Also, try changing the gamma in tone mapping to 1.4 to 1.8, somewhere in there. Default daz settings aren't great and it takes some tweaking. Also, check the skin itself, there may be options for or lower translucency, try setting it lower if possible.

You basically have to play around with a bunch of stuff until you get the exact look you want. Tough, but once you get the right settings it feels like a nice little accomplishment. I like fit/muscular girls up to a point so it's nice to see more.

I'll see what changing the gamma does, so far I've only used exposure value to adjust the brightness.
As for translucency on the skin, well, that's already set to zero. I'm rendering on a 2 year old laptop, so cutting down vram usage is kind of a big deal.

*Begin Rant*
as an older version of the petite female type person, I would like to personaly THANK Kaboomer for his gorgeous, petite (as in not a member of the "just how many liters of saline is in those implants?" type of characters), and sexy looking young woman... Ya'll got big T&A on the brain. Not everyone likes em like that, but because some folks get all "ooo, isn't she too young?" because she's got something less than 400 inch, ZZZ cup tits and likes to keep the hair gone off her crotch, for health and general pleasure's sake, they get labeled "Loli" and stomped out. Well, news for you all... I'm a 56 year old Loli then, cause I'm 5 ft, 3in tall, weigh 112 pounds, and have 34B breasts and no f*cking pubic hair by choice... > :)
*End Rant*

And I STILL get carded at liquor stores, and bars for looking under age at times... (makeup is amazing, with the right colors and stuff)

Attempting to work on a game and possibly using this model as the mc, going through expressions and hairstyles to see what each look like. May still tweak the body/face, any constructive input etc welcome.

Thanks for the reply, I really appreciate all the advise.

1) use only HDRI for lighting with the Dome enabled, there are several presets from Dreamlight which make any portrait instantly photorealistic at zero render cost. Example:
Studio Light Pro HDRI - , , (note: the promo images are misleading, these HDRIs also work without any scenery)
Yeah... I know I have to learn lighting next. Since I have no background in any kind of graphic design I'm only messing around so far. Building and posing figures is fun, setting up lighting isn't.
That said, I did some googling for lighting tips initially but it was kind of an ask 10 people and you get 11 different answers thing.
Apparently Iray Ghost Lights are the best option for older GPUs.

2) start using Skin Builder to create your own skin textures. If your PC can handle it then do all the work with Iray Preview enabled.
For now, start by using only the Light Texture at 100%. Play with Skin Shine and Oiliness. If you get a decent result, save the material preset (as rollback option).
I'm already using Skin Builder 8 but mostly for face closeups, which I'm obviously not posting here cause I doubt people care about my attempts with making freckles look realistic.
Skin imperfections on the body are kinda hit or miss so far and I didn't even realize there was an oiliness option.

Now for veins and actually ripped muscles, there are several options. sounds great because you can select individual muscles, but the whole pack is actually meant to be used instead of all the other fitness / bodybuilder morphs (same like ). I think they look too much like steroids, so perhaps one of the standalone Veins detail morphs might work better.
And as mentioned before, with Shape Shift, HFS and other general kits you can just bulk enhance the muscles or volume on separate bodyparts without going over the top.
Adjusting individual muscles sounds pretty awesome actually, I'll definitely have to give that a try. I guess I shouldn't have called my attempt a "muscle girl" since I'm more aiming for a ripped Lara Croft than She-Hulk. I can easily add bulk but it looks kinda silly and caricatural and that's really not the look I was going for. I have yet to see if Add Some Veins helps in that regard.
