do not bring the package directly, ask for Loic's help
Already asked Loic's help. He was poisoned, try to help him with grandma help. After that he was died. After that i tried again to deliver this package and no success.

Loic died? Wow, I didn't know that was possible... Kind of sad: I sensed the beginning of a love story between he and Sylia.

Did you pick up the package after Loic dies?
Yes :) I found the mistake. I used mouse to control move, and there are were problem with activate path to bandits camp. So I try again with keyboard and quest works fine now. I completed it today.
Thanks folks!

This part is a bit tricky so there could be a bug. I'll have a look.
Hey Maelion,

First of all, great update to the game, haven't played the saint path yet. Regarding that alleged bug, it might very well not be one, I think some players forget to pick up that package as Milkshe mentioned or forget the usual SHIFT+ENTER thingy as del.mar reported.

I have three questions as I'm updating the walkthrough (if anyone else can answer me as well, please do!):

You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
A yes or no answer will do of course!

-Finally, I'm playing version 0.3.5 with my 0.3.4 saves, and that THE RISE quest still doesn't complete even though you said it was a bug and you've fixed it. Do I need to do something to trigger that quest completion? To be honest, replaying that quest, even from the last bit with Barbariccia, would force me to do all the Lost dimension, The tomb and the Basin town quests all over again, on both Saint and deviant paths. If it's not too much of a hassle for you, could you make sure to have that quest complete in the next update, by triggering some action, the same way you did with Boris the beach giant? No additional fame points of course, just some action that would make that quest register as "completed".

Many thanks!

Updated helpguide for version 0.3.5.

Thanks to SuperMaxo for that info on the red edelweiss on Mt.Mune, and the info on hiding in the barrel to escape the Lumberjackass after 3 noises made in his basement (#1,121).

I'll update and replace the file if needed, so might as well use it directly online rather than downloading (if that's your thing).

edit: file updated, with all the info you need regarding that red edelweiss issue.

edit July 2019: This is the latest update so far (version 0.35), I figured that its useful for beginners, the gameplay quickly gets pretty obvious.

I'm in The curse [and manor events] quest. Right now at manor library.
If I check middle book shelf, some time mechanism activated:
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
After that I try to check other shelves with walkthgrough, but no luck
middle left book shelf
top right book shelf
bottom left book shelf
bottom right book shelf
top left book shelf
middle right book shelf
Are there some changes?

Only do it with the "narrow" shelves in the middle of the room, those large shelves on the left are not part of the mechanism. Unless the order was changed, once you 1) activate the time mechanism 2) SHIFT+ENTER (or just ENTER can't remember) those six shelves in that order mentioned in the walkthrough, one of those two middle narrow shelves slides and leads to an underground passage.

So, I've got a question, can you beat the game as a "pacifist". That being not damaging any monsters. I've been looking for such a game for a while now, would appreciate any recommendations if not. Still, even if it's not possible, I'm probably going to try it anyway.

@Manifold Hmm...no...and no. Dont worry you didn't miss anything. I'll double check the quest The Rise.
@Power trick Mechanisms are based on fighting so you have to. But you can play without any hardcore scene if you're not defeated and do the good choices.

Updated helpguide for version 0.3.5.

Thanks to SuperMaxo for that info on the red edelweiss on Mt.Mune. Haven't tried it, so I'm not sure if you can do both that option and then buying one from the merchant.
.
I don't think you can. I would have to replay to get the exact wording, but when you beat the mega bird whose name I forget and bring the edelweiss flower to the granny, she thanks you and says that she appreciates your valiant efforts, as she knows you had to kill the bird, since the merchant left town. And indeed, the merchant is gone.
I would have to replay and try to buy the flower first, and then see if it's still possible to go and pick up the flower on the mountain, but doing those steps in reverse (first mountain flower, then buying from merchant) is impossible.

Maybe @Maelion can shed more light into this?

That means it's most probably impossible the other way round as well, I'll modify the walkthrough when I can, thanks.

You can't have both the red edelweiss and the pale red edelweiss. Having the pale one from the merchant doesn't trigger the bird event in the mountain while killing the bird and having the red one makes the merchant going away.

I didn't realize they weren't the same flower... is the curative effect on Loic the same?

Not really ;)
Loic's fate is very different depending on the type of flower at this stage of the game.
well damn.
I will just have to replay, again. Which, I guess, was your point.

BTW, this has nothing to do with the rest of this discussion, but I just want to say that it's nice to see a character of your game, Mr. Claude (the Puppet Collector), use (a few) French sentences, and perfectly written too. This character, I must say, is very well written, his personality is clearly defined and stands out from the rest

Haha...Thanks. I loved making Claude. Not too hard to write in french because it is my native langage.

I figured so. I'm a native French-speaker too, but from Canada. Although I don't think you can detect my accent in writing... :)
