Sadly that's the best you can get with the patch. It's even worse when the game can't even detect the simhei font.
Usually it's something to do with your antivirus
Have you tried to unhide the SimHei regular font?

Sadly i have this problem too , show/hide Simhei does nothing , text is unreadable
Edit : Solved via NTlea with forced use Simhei fonts

What do you mean, are there any conflicting tags? are any of them wrong?
They seem fine to me except maybe the incest tag is one of the girls related to the protag?
It does and it doesn't depends on who you ask. Technically no.
Anyone has a short guide on how to install a font? Kinda seems like a thing you'd need if you require people to install something that should be included in the game to begin with.
Probably wont need it but you never know. I already have locale set.

Normally, you quite literally right click the font and hit the install option. Not sure what else you need a guide for? :x

It is included with the game (simhei.ttf).
Installing a font is easy just right click install or right click > open with > font viewer > install.

I saw the Anime and already loved it just for that.
didn't knew about the game honestly, so im going to play it..

There's one of the files that says "Aplication"
to make it easy just touch the "Type" bar.. and it will move all the Aplications up to the list... there you will see that BGI...
Yeah i can find the file but when i open it it loads for a few seconds and then just stops and nothing happens
