why? Is it hard to imagine that some people struggle with college? Especially a woman who pretty much dropped her studies early and went into sports full time? Of course she's gonna struggle unless she is secretly a genius, and none of the people are in this game except Els.

I meant that it's weird that she thinks there's anything wrong with struggling with coursework at 25, not that she's fucking stupid. I actually really like her character. Maybe I should have made it more clear that I was being sarcastic.

If I understand correctly he was planning to release a post about technical stuff + Amrit but he's remaking it

Final note, that big in depth post about the Amrit issue went from a fairly in depth post to a much larger vaguely concerning post. It sort of took on a life of it's own as I got angrier. What was once just a talk about a very specific program went off course and turned into a whole rant about technical limitations and artistic visions. Still going to release it, but I have to clean up some of the language, and also organise it a bit better so it doesn't read like a blog some lunatic wrote on a 2005 conspiracy board.

Thanks... I read that part, I just wondered if there was something that triggered it. Seems kind of odd, but I guess it could be anything. Maybe she is an older model or something and doesn't play nice with different generations. Dunno...

Yeah could be anything, Daz is a bitch of a bit of software, I hate using it but it's the best for what you need for VNs so we persist lmao.

My favourite thing at the moment is the bug where you get black lines on the eyes skin textures and have to change the instancing settings. Problem is, some of my files are 80/90mb and take five minutes to load. 40 files are effected, I'm gonna have to spend 3 and a half hours alone looking at Daz's load screen, to change one setting on a menu, then spend another 4 and a half hours re-rendering. All for the love of the game.

Yet there's nothing that can produce the visuals that Daz can, while also having the functionality, assets and community that it does. Pros and cons

I hate the eyes... of you look at most DAZ models, one of the eyes always looks like a lazy eye and is not quit in sync with the other, even if you have them pointed to a specific object. You have to manually adjust the one eye that is out of sync to correct it.

But hey, it's free and it's an awesome little program for being free.

I've not used Daz itself, so forgive my ignorance here, but if the project/scene has a specific setting that needs to be flipped, and it's a known issue, couldn't a script be thrown together in C or Perl or something to just bulk parse/process the files and flip that bit for you? I realize that you have to load things anyway to re-render, but surely there has to be a faster way to make bulk changes. Or even stream it in and then out again into a duplicate project file with the right settings, though that might be a bit annoying with all the space you devour.

The only plugin that I can think of that would allow this is one of the render queue plugins, which allows you to define a custom render settings file, but the actual render queue itself is much inferior to others (it for example lacks the ability to turn the pc off after the queue finishes, doesn't reset Daz studio after each render to clear the VRAM etc)

Not a surprise really. She is the least interesting of the bunch.

Of course I have a bunch of issues with her story line in the first place.
