She might be, however neither the motive nor the outcome are clear in the current version of the game. As @ThL pointed out, she has been more of plot tool, a catalyst for other relationships, so far with the Island experience giving some more insight into her potential role in the future. I suspect we'll know more after 0.6 and 0.7 are released.

she looks like a smartass, it may take a while, and she is befriending Rachel, and she is very "willing" towards MC, she could stay as a foil for the two sisters maybe ?
Get 100% on yacht and 100% on island and then judge her ... don't fall for 1st impression.
