I've always liked


to be fair, japan is an exotic lenguage and the people who have played japan vns are more easy to love japan voices over any english VA, it doenst matter if you are english or not. Also take into note that japan girls in sex scenes are just amazing, you can never compare them, there will never be rival to them... the english VA in adult vns seems always more forced while in japan they are just natural

Yeah. I think I 'accept' a voice where I can't understand what they're saying more than I accept one where I can. If I can understand them, I critique them, am biased for or against their accent etc.

Besides, no VA will say 'Hyaaaaaa!' better than a seiyū...

It is not the language, I greatly enjoyed Miss Sherlock, for instance, but those were real voices. The inhumanly high pitch I hear in so many games, series and videos that have Japanese voices, is like anti-ASMR, are the voice actors mechanically heightened to sound like helium-infused children?

For me, as delectable voices go, nothing beats a Francophone mezzo-soprano. Unlikely to find those in a game though.

My criteria are that they don't make the experience less than what it was before it was before the voices were added. I hope that doesn't make me appear too 'posh' for you. However if your VAs are not from within England, that will be the case.

So yeah, I'll have to judge, and it'll take me approximately half a sentence.

It's not posh to have preferences, but in any case, you can just toggle it on/off so it's not gonna make your experience any worse!

You might think that was the case, but turning off, and setting the Voice Volume to zero in Pine Falls (great game, btw) made no difference whatsoever. I think the author played the voices in the same way they played sound-effects by mistake or something.

The voice acting is in the phone system, and I specifically coded it so you can turn it on or off after you purchase the voice messages powerup, so it should work just fine

Well, it's had one update since release. The newest update is from January 29th. So it really depends on the last time you've played it. He posted a dev update on his patreon yesterday but I can't see it.

As for the support, I don't really mind, since I'm not making any money out of this. However, I'm really grateful for all the support I've got, since without it, I wouldn't be able to afford making certain upgrades to the game (like the voice acting). Obviously, more support would be very helpful with other stuff (if I could afford to get some help in the future, I'd be able to not take so long on each update), but I'm pretty happy as things are!
I also can't wait for everyone else to try it cause I would really love some more feedback!
Anyway, thanks again for your post, and if you don't mind me asking, what did you think of the voice messages? Are they clunky or do they work well?
