I'm only partly in but yeah the translation is bad. Really bad. I haven't lost what you are going for (so far) but I can already tell if you want it in English, you definitely need to work on it. I'm not one to ask for grammar and so on, and I think every other sentence has a typo or such. (in the beginning at least, haven't gone far yet) For example I've seen Arnold spelled like three or four different ways, which I believe all besides actually "Arnold" is a typo cause the others are less frequent.
The biggest thing that I'd say shouldn't be in it (which doesn't necessarily kill the translations but seems odd, unless its in a text message) is the line where he is thinking, and has "XD" as part of his thoughts. You generally don't emote in your thoughts. lol I think it looks less professional, could make an action where he finds it amusing or something. Though emotes always seem lazy to me.
Also if you aim yourself towards English audience, make sure to have the menus English too. The bits that aren't English, are easy enough to navigate cause I know Renpy and sure even if I didn't. Just interesting to see my save file say Jeudi Mai 16th, guessing Jeudi is Thursday?
All of this though can be fixed up eventually, for a start this isn't terrible. I've seen many terrible starting points that had no interest in watching the future of. I actually have interest in watching where this progresses, so don't let negativity stop you. Though you do have a lot of work to do in the future to polish it for English audience.
---Now that I'm finished fully, I'm looking forward to future updates. Though please do look into the translation. I could understand it, but putting it from a market perspective I would never pay for a game that broken English. As ThunderRob said, patreons or such will expect it to be polished. Now if this is a more side project, not worried about all that. I'd say use this as a way to slowly learn and get better with English if you wanna eventually go that route. Either way, I'm looking forward to updates. I understood most everything, maybe I've just been around the internet too long.
I use to have a friend for example that would ALWAYS say "it was that time of the mouth" and such. So my mind auto corrects a lot of bad translations. I say that as at the end you have it saying you will have 500$ (which for american dollar, its before the number not after. So $500, least I've never seen it after.) for the mouth. I assume you mean month with that. Think it was like that one other place too.
Overall it's not as bad as some say in understanding, it's bad as its very broken but imho understandable. I've seen some games that I literally had no idea what was being said.
tldr verison; It's got promise, but needs to fix the English like most said. Not as bad as everyone says though. I'd suggest giving it a try, and hope the dev keeps going and improves.
