Sure, I am all in for Haley, but especially in this update and the shopping with Sandra made it impossible to be cruel to her. And as long as we can have Haley .... maybe we can get to an MC+H+S ending?

The only reason i don't like her to be honest is the fact that you're forced to be with her rather then choose her. That's what put's me off when it's clingy type of character that you're forced to have just to prove you like someone else. It's also really the chemistry the dev created between MC and Haley is just something else. You can feel it somehow and it get's ruined by the Sandra story line. Don't get me wrong now a MC-H-S ending would be awesome, the threesome between all them is a scene i would never miss. But for now i just want MC and Haley together all day everyday

Well yeah, the game is named Haleys Story and basically the entire game to this point is about the buildup towards Haley and MC getting together.

It's just that it's strange to have a pair of siblings on this website and not have a "specific tag" added to the game. So I skipped over this, not thinking this could be a possibility

Yes, she has OCD, she has phobias and, despite all that, she is going against her deepest fears just to show her love. You couldn't possibly ask for a more powerful statement of love.

I really liked Blondy before but the sex with her changed my mind and was proof that she can never be anything but a fuckbuddy.

Story-wise, this is among the greats. Maybe you aren't as free as in some other games. But the control the dev keeps from you is put into a sweet story with great dialogue.

Honestly, even with her neurosis, I'd still probably not cheat on her. She's adorable, sweet, and dedicated to making the relationship work even with all her problems. Now IRL I'm not normally attracted to black girls, but if one was as beautiful as this I wouldn't even question it.

That said, "Cheating" on her is kind of the problem of this game because I like most people, hate the forced girlfriend thing. I get the choice, because Sandra was effectively a plot device for justifying Haley's jealousy. She was also a medium for introducing both Lisa and Alanna as alternate ending girls.

Same. I hate when you get railroaded towards a relationship with a character that is not the main LI and the character is actually likeable. Now I'm forced to cheat on her simply because she isn't the main girl, even tho I like Haley a ton more.

This seemed like a small and disappointing update, IF you're on the "Haley Only" path. I understand that, I do- and it does seem like we're approaching "critical mass" now that Haley's telling us we need to choose. It sounds like and we already know how she feels about the whole situation.

From reading the comments, it does sound like there was more content if you're not on the "Haley Only" path or the "Trying to build a Harem" path. I'm on the "Haley Only" path (and possibly a little side order of Lisa path on the DL). Although, I really don't want to do anything that could potentially break Haley's heart (when she asked the MC if it would always be "us" and she had the sad look/pout on her face)- I could already feel my heart sinking...

Out of curiosity, if you're pursuing someone other than Haley (Heretics, Blasphemers) - what happened in this update? It appears that something happened with Sandra and Diane- I'm just wondering what it was exactly. I get the forced relationship with Sandra had to happen (I've even mentioned it in earlier posts)- it had to happen in order for the plot/conflict to develop, so that part makes sense. Also, it's not lie the MC hasn't been given other opportunities to be with other women- so there is the potential for some variety (Sandra, his boss, Diane...) I like all the ladies in this game and think they're rendered beautifully. I still like the interaction/banter between Haley and the MC- it's very well written. It's just this game, for me, is all about Haley. If you didn't fall in Love with her instantly and in that same instant realize that there were no other ladies in the world that could ever compare to her- then there just "has" to be something wrong with you.

Was there any difference if you let Haley touch you "down under" in the last update (by pretending to be asleep) as opposed to this update when she's rubbing your stomach when you're recovering from your hangover in this update? She's dangerously close to the same area-so I was wondering if there was more or a reward for "stopping" her last time...

Since this update, I just replayed the entire game, this time selecting every choice that awards no points to Sandra, I didn't play the previous update. I was tired of Sandra stringing along the MC. That is why I skipped the last update. The game was an exercise in futility. I was surprised it only took about 20 minutes to play from beginning to end of the current update.

Ok, I get it that if they acknowledge their feelings, then the dam gets blown to hell, ok. I guess my question is, is that necessarily so?? Haley seems to the stable one <emphasis on SEEMS> in their relationship. IF she is this major stabilizing force, couldn't she help lil bro with a 'bit' of lovin? Pressure release? After that, once they've shutdown the rhino, they can worry about the implications of their 'immorality'? Isn't this a case of 'behind closed doors' mentality? Mayhap this a facet of the immaturity of lil bro being a psychotically aggressive horndog who'll attack his sis as soon as his eyes are open? Hell, I dunno Jus throwin dis shit out there, eh?

It was Haley herself that suggested MC to be with Sandra. She pushed it. We could speculate her angle was to quell the forbidden desires she's been bottling up. But it backfired. It's slowly making her want to give into her forbidden desires. MC being with Sandra is important for Haley's character progression.

You know, I started this game around version 2 or so (saw a note about it on another thread and was intrigued). However, since then, this game seems to be less about Haley and more about all of the other girls. Don't get me wrong, I do not mind the slow start (especially with this being only v 0.40, but DAMN, this is almost as bad as Ecchi Sensai (not to mention several other similar games) when it comes to getting with the LI you are interested in.

I am not saying have the MC jump into bed with Haley from the get go, but I would have expected them to have gotten further along than they are right now.

The other thing is, like a number of people on here, I am DEFINITELY not a fan of forced relationships. I was in one IRL, and it was a complete disaster, and IMHO it seems the same thing is leading towards that in this game. The slow buildup is getting to the point that I am tempted (as some have said) to drop this game and wait until the dev gets his "head out of his ass" and starts making this a REAL Haley's Story. Although I fear that by that time I will either be in Hospital or dead by then.

Yes, too many games just jump into the H action from the start rather than allow a buildup, but that does not mean you need to take it to the other extreme.

EDIT:

I do not know if this slow buildup is the dev's way of soaking patrons for contributions or not (have never heard of that about him) but I DO know there are a number of dev's that do exactly that; promise a decent game, give out a few pissant updates to have people Support them for more content, and then after a while, the game is dropped or ended in a VERY screwed up fashion (Case in point is Tangled Up and Incestial Awakening, {I think I spelled that one right} just to name 2 of many).

Like I said, I have never seen anything in this Forum to hint that this dev does things like that, but having tried supporting other games that did, I would be hard pressed to even consider supporting this game with such a lack of meaningful content for the MC and Main LI as indicated by the game title.

On the Sandra path, you calm her down as she is packing to leave and then go shopping with her. There, you can talk her into having a quickie in the changing room. Nothing much changes with Haley. You are still forced to promise Haley that you will always be together and then they kiss. The game doesn't allow you to have any real control over the player character or the story. If you like Sandra and dislike Haley, then your character still loves Haley and sort of tolerates Sandra. It's awful.

On the Diane path, she has sex with you on the floor of your apartment, but only if you agree that you just want to be her secondary fuck buddy and assure her that you aren't interested in a meaningful relationship of any kind. It's the most pathetic and least passionate sex scene in the game because the MC is using it as some sort of attempt to forget about Haley. It's just sad.

If you didn't fall in Love with her instantly and in that same instant realize that there were no other ladies in the world that could ever compare to her- then there just "has" to be something wrong with you.

Well, there must be something seriously wrong with me then, because I hate her guts.
