VN Ren'Py Abandoned Come Inside [v0.2.1] [ttll]

If anybody have this problem too, please go in discord, and describe the problem in #bug-reporting channel.
Can't test it.

This is a problem caused by the rar compression. Sometimes, when you compress with rar on one platform, then uncompress on a different platform, the different rar tools on the different platforms change file permissions. When this happens with a Ren'Py game, the fix is almost always (and is here):

1. Open the Terminal app
2. type cd <game directory> -- for example, if you put the game in /Applications/RenPy, "cd /Applications/RenPy"
3. type cd CI.app/Contents/MacOS -- this takes you to a directory inside the game application
4. type chmod +x CI -- there's a file here called "CI" that doesn't have permission to execute; this makes the file executable
4.a. type ls -al Vis -- doing this before and after the chmod command will show you the permission changes if you're curious
5. type cd lib/darwin-x86_64 -- his navigates to the second file with bad permissions
6. chmod +x CI -- this fixes the permissions on the second file (which is also called CI).
7. Quit Terminal -- all fixed!

If a developer wants to avoid this problem in general, they should use zip to compress the mac and linux versions of their game.

First this game is great! I love the branches and the plotlines are right up my alley. A couple of thoughts - one in the spoiler on game play. Unspoilered thought: The click minigames do not have enough time allocated. I was frankly unable to win the first one without the cheat mentioned earlier and number 4 required a brute force console cheat. If anyone has an idea on what you should do to stop the “solved portion” from dropping back down I’m all ears - it doesn’t seem like it has anything to do with speed of clicking.

The sketchbooks stories are exceptionally well writen. Now if we can expect such vivid, exposed personalities for many of the girls that would be epic.

I just mashed Enter on the keyboard, that worked pretty well.

The typing mini-games feel right, but the clicking ones need some tweaking in my opinion.

One neighbor sucks a dick and you can say if you are interested on the ladies or not (they might go their way with other people), so if you ask me, it's not NTR.

There's a path that you can completely avoid, that provides content where female characters in the game might have sexual interactions with other males in the game via blackmailing etc.
For me it's not NTR, but many people labeled it as that so i don't know if tag should be there or not..

There is no NTR in the game. There is one scene where you can watch your neighbor (who you are in no way even romantically or sexually involved with) be forced to suck her boss's dick. But even this scene is totally avoidable.

I'm a huge NTR hater but even I recognize this isnt that. I dont like the scene, so I just stay off that path.

Be rude to her every opportunity you get and answer your phone while talking to her. After your call with Cougar80 at night you will have the opportunity to sneak into her room and nut on her. You will also get a bonus ending screen after successfully being an ass to her:

Enjoyed it overall. The dialogue seems alittle off, figure the dev is a non english speaker, but still quite readable. But for the love of god change the "mini-game" for the forth picture. The other ones are bad enough, but the forth, I can't see myself ever doing that again(which looks like that'll block content since it doesnt look like you can do them out of order). Which will most likely have to happen since something usually breaks the saves on most renpy games after a few updates.

Pretty good so far definitely interested in seeing more. After going through the memories though this is definitely getting banned from patreon if they look at it. If the author is smart they'll forget about patreon and setup an account on subscribestar.

Does not work on mac but here is how to fix it:

1. Once you have uncompressed the file go into the folder ComeInside-0.1-mac (in the Finder).
2. Right click on CI.app and click on Show package contents (there will appear the folder Contents with the folder MacOS inside)
3. Open the Terminal
4. Write in the terminal: chmod +x (but don't click enter)
5. Drag this file into the terminal: Contents/MacOS/CI
6. Enter.
7. Repat 4.
8. Drag this file into the terminal: Contents/MacOS/lib/darwin-x86_64/CI
9. 6.

And that's it; there is probably a way to change the modes of both of those files at the same time but this worked fine and it's doable in a minute.

Other than the mini-game, the one thing that is conflicting for me is the sister. Being nice to her (what I usually do in games) resulted in her taking advantage of MC. So far, it's only by being rude to her that we get to hear the truth on why she left the boyfriend, but slaving someone is really not my cup of tea. I'm hoping there's a good outcome by being nice to her and not just her taking advantage of MC forever lol.
