Lol if you guys actually expected a decent ending to game with such storytelling. The MC was boring as an android robot .. Mary herself was boring.. there was no choices in the story except in the end... Thus it is only fitting for its ending to be a few pictures and call it a day... I would do the same if I wrote such a boring story.

If I were a patron, I imagine I'd be righteously pissed at that finish, but I was already expecting a disappointing conclusion. I don't know if the dev lost interest, or just had no idea where else to go with the story, but it had been petering out for a while.
Well, at the very least it got some semblance of an ending which is more than can be said for the majority of VNs on these boards.

I would say that this is an accurate representation of how this was wrapped up as in it wasn't wrapped up... Wanna get married? Yes or No?
There is no opportunity to fuck Mary's mom anywhere in the story on any branch to my knowledge. That REALLY pisses me off. Why the fuck is she included as such an important character then? Why the fuck do I gotta deal with her so damn much if I never get a shot... even on a bad ending to cram my cock up her ass? It's infuriating. She is by FAR the most attractive female in the game and no matter what we do she winds up fucking that dufas that we for some reason have to set her up with?
Furthermore, there is like one half-assed hire a Dominatrix scene and that's it? Only the very start of that shit and no branching on it and very little content? Why you gonna pay $2,000 for some hoe to do her "therapy" when she don't really do nothing...
If this is it seriously that's fine... Make a NEW game staring Mary's mom Andi as the female protagonist so we can finally get some action with her... I mean the creator of this game done her worse than her husband did in neglecting her. Talk about under utilized resources.

I really don't understand what happened here. This game had so much patience and so much building up, to end too quickly! Did the Developer lose his inspiration? The end is just cute and nothing more. The better comparison for this it's like the girl is next to reach her climax, but the guy ejaculated before her and she ended really disappointed with the situation.

lost intresst or ran out of ideas to fill the game content for another 6 updates.the ongoing story from version 0.55 to 0.70 showed that already abit that the story gets more and more boring.what reason could it else have to go from version 0.70 to 1.0 Final with one update that includes only the prologue/the endings??
A good vanilla Game with two people falling in love and start a relationship....

It's definitely a trend because let's be real, most of the devs are amateur writers who just wish for easy money. Most of them don't realize how difficult it is to write proper ending because all they had were ideas. The challenge is how to combined those ideas and sew them together into one flowing storyline. That's why there are tons of games that were abandoned (gave up) or milked (no clue how to conclude the game).
Imagine if someone asked you, "What kind of story will you write if you're a writer?" You'd easily answer with something (let's say "an action story about a guy saving the world"), but then you'd have a much harder task going into detail (who is the main character? what is the threat to the world? why is this main character the one who can save the world? how do they actually save the world? etc). That's what's happening in most games here.
For this particular game, I always felt the problem is the story really is just life with Mary. Just like Seinfeld, it's essentially a story about nothing. Without a goal in the story, there is no ending to aim for, and most endings would be disappointing. If you read Harry Potter, though most of the story is about Harry's school life, you know the end goal is to beat Voldemort. Each book is taking a step closer to reaching the goal. Such thing doesn't exist in this game because it's just a flat day-to-day life with Mary. It's good, but it isn't exciting.
In most games, at least there are obstacles to overcome before MC could get the girls. In this game, there's really nothing MC needs to do because Mary likes him regardless. I'm afraid the same thing would also happen in Haley's story. It's such a shame because both Mary and especially Haley are extremely likeable characters. I wish they could've been accompanied with better storyline for them to really shine.
