So the test version is lacking content or is it just not "beta tested"? Because if it lacks content, it's totally pointless to download it. If it has all the content, but has (maybe) some bugs, it's not as pointless. It could vary from typos, repeated scenes or some missing pictures to game breaking bugs. So it would be 50:50. Still, if the final version is due "couple of hours" as somebody said here, there's no reason to download the test one.

How do you know it's not lacking content? A few of the games I have bug tested have had significant scenes added before the final release.

Well, I've played test versions of The Visit a couple of times before. I then played the "final" version, and boom, exact same thing, no extra scenes. So extra scenes have not been the case here so far.
The only thing you're missing is that an incest patch (totally made by a fan $100%) will not be released for the test version. So if you want to get fussy, that's it.

The test version is basically the full version but it's highly likely to contain spelling/grammar errors, no music and some renders with issues. I tend to make a few small changes here and there for the proper release too.
This test version also had a few things missing behind the scenes so I would suggest not using it to make saves for use in the future.
Personally I'd rather not see it get widespread release but I can't really stop my patrons from doing so :/

The Visit 0.10 released, fuck yeah!
And Lewdpatcher was just updated to version 10 so remember not to use your old 0.9 patch with it. It replaces the script file so you could start getting errors, also the game would just end where 0.9 ended anyway.

The quality of the update is fantastic as always; although I can't escape the feeling that it was a little short.
