I think if anyone deserves decent endings it's Haley with her choice of girl.

I did like this update, it added more complexity to the story, which might be good or bad, especially with that ending.
Incest three-way anyone? If it doesn't happen I'll rage.
But, that ending, it had to complicate and delay things. I can see the next updating being dealing with the fallout.

I ask because so far the MC has been tolerable but while the women were all great in this update he came across like a bit of a dick.
First some guy talks shit about the mother he claims to love and he just stares blankly while his girlfriend does the defending. A few updates ago he went chasing after a criminal over a mobile phone yet can't even muster up a few words to back up someone he claims to have feelings for.
Then he starts whining about people talking about the future despite being the age that happens and him wanting more from Nikki the first time he saw her.
It's like he went from young adult to whining teen between the last update and this one.
I tried playing it back a few times but can't find the castration scene he must have gone through.

No criticism meant here, but do you think that maybe you're expecting too much? Again, not meaning to argue with your analysis, because it makes a lot of sense to me.
I always view this, as the game that wasn't meant to be. In that, the dev only meant to release the initial update, and move on. But people wanted more of the story, and so they continued... Because of that, there was no initial plan or outline for the bigger story. There was no character development or ending beyond the original. I think it is being winged, for the most part.
Because of that, I give it a lot of freedom, and just try to enjoy the crazy ride we're on

I really dislike a weak MC and I am not sure why the dev decided to torpedo the character of the MC of the story. Tis very sad this was one of my favorite games. Whoa is me... time to move on I guess
