No criticism meant here, but do you think that maybe you're expecting too much? Again, not meaning to argue with your analysis, because it makes a lot of sense to me.

I always view this, as the game that wasn't meant to be. In that, the dev only meant to release the initial update, and move on. But people wanted more of the story, and so they continued... Because of that, there was no initial plan or outline for the bigger story. There was no character development or ending beyond the original. I think it is being winged, for the most part.

Because of that, I give it a lot of freedom, and just try to enjoy the crazy ride we're on

I would agree but the MC has been fine right up until this update.

Remember we've spent at least 9 updates now being told how much he loves his mother and the second someone talks shit about her he just stands there, staring like drooling simpleton while his girlfriend is the one defending her.

This is the same guy that talked a cop into sex in the middle of the station or fucks his maids ass in an interview room.

The same guy that chased a big guy that had stolen his girlfriends phone.

The second some skinny little dipshit talks about the woman he claims to love ... he does absolutely nothing.

I can totally get behind not having a plan but it seems like a completely different guy this update.

You simply say "that's my mom, don't be a dick" and it's instantly solved.

Instead he stood there while his girlfriend did the work and will probably be known around the office as the guy who's girlfriend fights his battles.

It would also go around the office that you can say anything you want about his mother, the pussy won't say a word.

One of best scenes and i believe the only one so far that dares this question how far a real relationship between mother and son could really go. Hope we get to see it maybe on different paths
